Smith Mountain Lake Lakefront 4BR, Private Dock, Kayaks & Family Game Room

3 Little Birds was perfect! The house was furnished very comfortably with everything you needed for time at the lake! It was cozy, clean & had great areas outside to enjoy the weather and gather around the fire pit, on the screened porch, the upper & lower decks, and the game room was awesome with something for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed and more. The host was very easy to work with and answered all our questions quickly. Overall I would recommend this property to anyone interested in having a great vacation experience.

With a 2 month old and 4 generations, we needed a special place and low key get-away. This house was perfect!! The great grandmom was able to enjoy the lake view from the porch. She also loved all the hummingbirds fighting over the feeders. The new mom and dad enjoyed the master bedroom and screened in porch. The grandparents and siblings shared the downstairs. We cooked most of our meals - the kitchen was so well equipped. My husband and I (the grands) renewed an old ping pong obsession, as well as basketball, darts, and video games. The sound system and selection of CDs was fun too! There was kayaking and sunbathing and swimming. On the two rainy days, there were so.many.great.books!! We also played board games after dinner. Oh! And the deer! Moms, a buck and spotted babies were in the yard daily. I highly recommend this off-the-beaten-path part of the lake. Check-in was easy, WiFi was great - my daughter was able to work occasionally from there with no problems and my son was able to finish his summer class. Ron was responsive and easy to work with. What are you waiting for?? Book it!

Three Little Birds is a wonderful home fully equipped with everything needed for a great lakeside getaway. Great home for families with kids with a separate game room in the garage. It sits on a beautiful, quiet cove good for paddle boarding and kayaking with quick access by boat to some of SML’s best lakeside restaurants. The dock worked great for our wake boat and was fully padded with good cleats for docking. Property was clean, ready upon arrival and fully stocked. We traveled with two families of 4 (two adults and two teens each) and there was plenty of space for all. Would highly recommend!

Best lake house we’ve ever rented. Located on a quiet secluded cove. Great layout, open concept, well equipped kitchen. large deck and oversized boat dock. Separate game room with fridge. Options to enjoy 2 separate living spaces. Main floor with 2 bedrooms and area downstairs with 2 extra bedrooms and TV. Host very responsive and accommodating. Lots of books, puzzles and game. Loved it!!

We had a wonderful week-long family vacation at 3 Little Birds. It's a beautiful home with lots of little spaces for folks to hang out in, and there was plenty to do for our gang. The cove is deep water (8-10ft at the dock) and even deeper in the middle of the cove so the water was clear and not too warm. Really refreshing. The guys loved fishing off the dock and they made good use of the water crafts to paddle up/down the cove to visit my brother who had rented another house close by. We all enjoyed the game room/garage. Rob is a super responsive host. We had no issues during our stay. The waste/recycling center and Food Lion are close by. The house is close to all the things you want to do. We had a great time in such a beautiful place, and we hope to be back again next year. all the best,Meg

This was our first, of what I'm sure will be many stays. The home is well outfitted with all the necessities and updated and comfortable surroundings. We brought our boat with us and the location on the lake was perfect for us. It's a quite cove and docking our boat to the floating dock was easy and safe. Would recommend this home to families and a group who is looking for a fishing getaway!

My family had a wonderful week at 3 Little Birds from August 17 to 24. The house is beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained. It provided everything we needed for a last-minute vacation to SML. Rob is great to work with and responds quickly to any questions. We especially enjoyed the garage game room, kayaks, screened-in porch, beautiful boat dock, and lovely house decor! We loved this home! It was very clean and had everything we needed! Home had plenty of space and great location on the lake! The floating dock worked out great for our boat and jet ski! Host does a great job in communicating and providing information. It’s very obvious the host takes very good care of the property. We also loved the garage/game room. We plan to stay at this home again next year!

This property our family agreed was a great place to stay. Plenty of room for our big family, a game room with lots of fun, nice deck and porch overlooking Smith Mountain Lake, very relaxing. Boating, swimming, lots of wildlife so close you can almost touch them. We saw deer, turtles, birds, squirrels, fish, ducks, and i think a ferret... This really was the best if you like relaxing. Ice cream right up the street too! From booking to checking out Rob was available and easy to talk to. They had all kinds of gear for us to utilize.
