Stayed Mar 6, 2025Do NOT book this property or anything owned by this host: Non-functioning shower in primary bathroom, and host never responded to our concern! When we used the master shower, it flooded the bathroom floor because the small glass partition was not large enough. We ended up with water all over the bathroom floor, which did not have a drain to empty into. We stopped using that shower and had only one other shower in the big house. The host never responded to our message about this concern and only sent us a generic email asking about our stay (to which he did not respond), a form email about check out instructions, and a form email asking us to leave 5-star reviews on everything booking site (needless to say, we will not). The host has also not responded to our complaints after our stay. Do NOT book this property!

Stayed Jan 30, 2026This was a great stay. The host was communicative, there were additional amenities such as toiletries that are often forgotten and a selection of games.

The house is decorated with great taste and the pictures don’t make it justice. The rooms were spotless. Communication with owner was fast and efficient. Location is close to everything. We will stay again, no doubt about it!

Stayed Mar 1, 2024I came here with my brother to visit extended family from California, and being hotel snobs, we knew we wouldn't find something that met our expectations at a standard hotel. Instead, we took a chance on a VRBO property and were very happy that we did! Conveniently located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, this four-bedroom, two-bath bungalow has all the amenities of a 5-star hotel. The master bed and bath are especially lux, and I felt like I was at a resort on the California Coast, a la Bacarra or Terranea. Hakeem went out of his way to ensure we were happy and all our needs were met, and was very prompt in communicating with us. The beds are super comfy, everything was spotless and we were very grateful for the Keurig for coffee in the morning. The only intel I'd share is that the 4th bedroom is off the master bath, so if you're sharing the place with littles, this would be perfect for you. We ended up not using this room and honestly didn't even discover it initially. Also, the lock box is a digital keypad on the door, which is easy to use, but if you're old like we are, don't get confused and look for an old-school lock box; this place is high-tech. The only issue we had was figuring this out as there is no light on when you get to the property so we wandered around a little. You will love this adorable little space; it may be the best thing in Gainesville! (besides our Grandmother, obviously ;-)

Stayed Feb 8, 2024Everything about this stay and this place was pristine and professional. There isn't a single thing you will want and not find in the place. Great location across from a park. Also loved the ample parking.
