Slip Away Chalet | Centrally Located, Great Views!

Over all this place is a great place to spend time with your FAMILY. Every thing u would need is there. Management was very nice to deal with on the phone. We enjoyed our selfs very much.

The house itself was great - when renting this house you really do have to pack/buy every single thing you may need….. salt, pepper, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, etc. The outside trash bin was completely full so we had to have all of the trash in the house the entire time we were there. Lastly, a 9am checkout time is unreasonable and kind of steals a day of your trip. Highly recommend the host makes it at least 11am.

The ten steps leading down to the front door are crumbling and loose. Someone is going to get hurt. The refrigerator and washer/dryer are recent. Everything else is old, dirty, and torn. The property has not been maintained in man years.

Started off rough ended with a plan to rent home again. We were exhausted from a day of traveling and skiing and got to the home with no hot water, no wifi and some musty smells and pet stain (allegedly) in one of the main level rooms. Mgt came right over reset water heater and gave us some spray deodorizer and we cleaned carpet a bit. One shower later, no hot water again. Mgt came back next morning changed out lower element and we were good the rest of the time for hot water. With our 6 kids, ages 22-5, and ourselves there is no way a 60 gallon water heater from 2001 is ideal especially because a huge draw to the home was the master bedroom large soaking tub & shower FAR away from the rest of the activities and people! The home could really use new carpet on main level and upstairs but basement level super clean. A deep clean would be suggested for the kitchen as well. Over all and after we got hot water we really enjoyed our time and felt comfortable and plan to rent this home again if we go in the winter. Never did have wifi but turned out to be a great blessing and forced us to have more time together. It really is a beautiful home and view of the lake.

We loved the little playground, the kitchen and great room were spacious, the rooms worked well for our group and the hot tub was very nice. Two things could have been improved: the description of where to go to get to the lakefront from the house (outside of just going the state park) was confusing and could have been described a little more clearly. But our main complaint was that there was not enough hot water for the size of the house and the number of occupants for which it is listed. We couldn't get more than one maaaaaaybe 2 hot showers in, and if we ran a bath for the kids, then forget it for everyone else for quite a while. If those two things could be fixed then this place would have been nearly perfect!

No complaints, other than the fact that I wish it were even closer to the lake. We had a hard time finding the specific dock/dock number for the rental, so we used one of the many vacant spots at the closest dock to the property, which was nearly across the street. Encountered no issue with our rental boat and dock. Neighbors were friendly. Everything was terrific!

Unfortunately, the house was a bit dusty and some things needed extra cleaning attention (e.g. beds, furniture, ceiling). Also, having a hot tub is appealing and a sell for us, but this one was musty/moldy and our kids came home with folliculitis because we realized the problem a little late. Ick.
