Welcome to Maple View Lodge, a spacious and beautifully updated northern Michigan retreat located inside the peaceful Shanty Creek Resort community. This large and elegant property is designed for big groups, family get togethers, multi family gatherings, golf trips, ski weekends, girls trips, and special celebrations. The entire home is updated, thoughtfully furnished, and arranged in a way that allows every guest to relax, spread out, and enjoy both privacy and together time.

With fourteen beds plus an additional air mattress, Maple View Lodge can host large groups with ease. Almost every guest can enjoy their own bed, which is extremely rare in northern Michigan rentals. This home delivers a wonderful blend of resort living, natural beauty, comfort, convenience, and room to breathe.

Located close to Lake Bellaire, Schuss Mountain, Torch Lake, and beautiful downtown Bellaire, this property gives you an ideal home base for all four seasons. Whether you are visiting for boating on the lakes, skiing the slopes, golfing at one of the area courses, enjoying fall colors, hiking, tasting local wine and beer, or relaxing with family, Maple View Lodge is ready for your stay.

Your stay gets you access to the Lakeview Hotel indoor and outdoor pools! As well as private neighborhood beach access on Lake Bellaire for our Summer visitors.

⛷️ Schuss Mountain less than 7 minutes away. This spacious and elegant 1970’s house is sure to wow! It has everything you need for a large group and allows you and your guests to spread out comfortably. Best part is we have 14 beds and an air mattress allowing almost everyone their own bed for sleeping!

The house is divided into two separate wings. The west wing has a very large master bedroom with attached bathroom (shower) and large flat screen TV as well a patio out the sliding glass door. Also in the west wing, we have a bunk room with two bunk beds (fulls on bottom and twins on top) with flat screen Smart TV and bean bags for lounging. Rounding out the west wing is a third bedroom with a twin bed trundle with Big Joe bean bag and a work area. Across the hall is a common bathroom with shower.

Pass through the entry way which has a seating area to the east wing. Here you find a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances and stock to make a full meal for your large party. Eat dinner together dining hall style in our 18 person equipped dining table next to the kitchen.

A newly decorated living area has a sectional couch, shuffle board game, and additional seating for lots of fun and laughter! Two bedrooms, a loft, sunroom with games and laundry room (new appliances!) round out the east wing. One bedroom has a king bed with TV and desk area, and one bedroom has two double beds with attached bathroom with shower and bathtub. The loft has a total of four full sized beds and an air mattress.

Yes, this northern Michigan home IS fully air conditioned!

The yard is large and offers lots of room for hanging out. There is a new fire pit with Adirondack chairs and gas grill.

Offsite Amenities:

Enjoy access to the neighborhood Beach Club on Lake Bellaire, a short 5 minute drive from the home. Shandy beach area with chairs to sit and relax. The club features Basketball, Tennis, and Pickleball courts! The Beach Club is seasonal from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Indoor pool:

Enjoy a swim in the heated indoor pools and hot tubs at the Lakeview Hotel. Soak in their hot tub after a cold day of skiing the slopes of golfing the courses. Open year round!

Outdoor Pool Lakeview Hotel:

Outdoor pool at the Lakeview Hotel is available for our guests enjoyment Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend. Gorgeous views of the hills and Lake Bellaire.

The interior of the home will be decorated for the holidays from Thanksgiving through New Years! This home is equipped with outdoor security cameras positioned at the front door facing the driveway. They monitor only the exterior for safety. No cameras are placed inside the home or in private spaces.
