The property was perfect for our needs. Very spacious for everyone. The bayou was a great backdrop for family photos. Even the neighbor was very friendly. Highly recommend.

Ms. Cynthia was very responsive and very easy to communicate with. The house and rooms were very spacious and beds very comfortable. We had no issues and the view was amazing. It was very nice to sit outside and enjoy the view. Very relaxing. Highly recommend.

Was perfect for my wedding weekend and for my parents and friends do stay for the wedding. We had plenty of room to get ready the morning of and no one was in anyone’s way. Quiet neighborhood and perfect backyard view of the bayou.

Cynthia was wonderful! We were in the area right before the worst winter storm hit so internet was out and she took care of it right away. Checked with us later because power had gone out - but we had left tow because of storm! Home was very well appointed, clean and comfortable!

The property itself is absolutely stunning. The view of the bayou is spectacular—peaceful, expansive, and exactly what you hope for when booking a getaway like this. The home is beautifully situated, and the natural scenery alone makes a strong first impression.Unfortunately, the experience was significantly diminished by the host’s interaction. When I asked a simple, reasonable question about whether there were curtains in the living room (given the large windows and visibility at night), the host responded with an unnecessarily irritated and inappropriate tone. Rather than addressing the question professionally, the host escalated the situation and suggested that I “check out and go elsewhere tonight and I will tell VRBO to refund your money.”

Everything was great! Plenty of room, great yard, excellent host! Enjoyed our time in Monroe!

The house was very nice. The kitchen could have been better stocked with pots and pans. But this was not something that I would complain about.

We had a great stay in Monroe thanks to Cynthia's house. We had plenty of space to spread out and we enjoyed hanging out both in the house and outside on the back patio/back yard. We were in town for family events and so we were able to gather as a larger group and enjoy time together.

Everything was great.I would advise putting handicap bar in tubs, because tubs are higher than regular tub. Tubs are big which were fantastic

We had a wonderful time staying here with our family! The house was very comfortable, spacious, and had plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. When the AC went out, Cynthia was incredibly responsive and apologetic — it was fixed within the hour, which we really appreciated.The only downside is that there is no WiFi, and with kids plus spotty cell service, that was a bit of a challenge. Other than that, everything about the property was great. We would definitely recommend it for a stay!

The house was perfect!! Clean, and had every thoughtful ammenity!! The landscape in the back yard was peaceful and breathe taking— kind neighbors as well!!! Comfortable beds as well!!

Super spacious, the bayou out back was fantastic. We had 8 people stay and everyone had plenty of room.

Cynthia was a great host. Super easy to communicate with. The property was as stated in the description. We enjoyed the back yard and grilled out one night. The only thing I would suggest in the future is adding WiFi to the house. We were aware beforehand so no issues there at all. Would just be a nice amenity to have. Would definitely book this place again in the future. Thanks Cynthia!

The pictures did not do the property justice. The bayou was beautiful. The house was very big and roomy for our group of 10. Getting into the house and corresponding with the host was very easy and fast. Next opportunity to travel to Monroe and a house if this size is required, this will be the first house I will look for.

The property has a lot of potential. The house was not clean, hair everywhere, soap scum all over the tubs, fridge was disgusting, cupboards were dirty and the bathroom cabinets had dried toothpaste stuck to it. We had to clean when we arrived. There are no window coverings in the main area. The outside area by the water was gorgeous but getting there was not accessible. The ground stairs are broken up in the back and not easy to walk through. The front yard had a melted garbage can in it and the bushes blocked the view so it was very difficult to back out. Also there is no WIFI. I did leave my glasses there and the owner did mail them back to me at my expense which was very nice.

Lovely property- big rooms, snacks, coffee,water provided was a nice treat! Would stay again!

Great stay

This house on the bayou was perfect for our stay in Monroe. It has everything you need, kitchen utensils, lots of towels and comfortable beds. The view of the bayou is beautiful, and the bird feeder out back brought lots of wildlife to watch and enjoy!

There was a comfortable place for everyone to sleep and get ready in the morning. A friendly cat welcomed us in the carport!

The home is very large and well equipped with every thing needed plus many extras in case you forget anything. We attended my daughter’s graduation and were able to cook and spend time together comfortably. I assumed check out was 12 and the owner was very understanding in allowing us pack. The property sits on a beautiful LA bayou which is perfect for morning yoga, coffee, and gathering with your family.. Highly recommend booking here!!!

Absolutely loved the property! The wildlife is very much alive at this location but also very quiet! The host was very accommodating to anything that could possibly arise. However, there were no concerns or issues. We loved the grass pier and cypress trees. I would suggest not getting into the bayou. I saw 2 gators on a morning swim!! Lots & lots of different bird species..... just beautiful! I will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay at this 4 bedroom. Cynthia thought of everything and was very responsive to any questions. The outside is so beautiful sitting near the water. We enjoyed fishing off the pier. Every bed was very comfortable and the spacious layout was nice.

Perfect for our needs. The view of the Bayou is excellent. The 3 bathrooms are a plus. Beds were very comfortable. Showers decent. For the price it was just right.
