    We loved staying here! The rooms were super clean, the pool was a little dirty but nothing we couldn’t scoop up. Would highly recommend!

    We recently stayed at the Dolphin House condo in South Padre Island and had mixed feelings about our experience. The exterior and interior is stunning. The interior was very clean and well decorated. It was clear that attention had been given to guest comfort, and we truly appreciated the aesthetic and layout of the space. The location was also a highlight. The home is within walking distance to Beach Access #9, which was very convenient for us. Just a note to future guests: parking at this beach access point is limited, so walking is definitely the better option. That said, there were some issues that unfortunately affected our stay. When we arrived, the pool was not usable. It had visible algae and the pump was not functioning. It wasn’t serviced until the next day, and while it was, the strong chemical smell made us uneasy about letting our one-year-old swim. Some guest tried to get in but it was uncomfortable. Additionally, the fire alarms in the home went off repeatedly on both Friday and Saturday. The noise was distressing for our child, and at one point, in the middle of cooking Sunday breakfast, leave the property. We also reached out to customer service regarding these issues and requested a credit for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the response was dismissive and unhelpful, which added to our frustration. With better attention to property maintenance and guest support, this could have been a much more enjoyable stay and easily a five star experience.

    The house location was great. The house was good we had some issues. One of the toilets was plugged on arrival. Called the 800 number and they were there that same day. Messaged about some other issues and didn’t get responses until 2 days later. Patio door still does not slide had to go around the outside to get to the pool. When looking back at reviews it was already an issue back in July 2023. Fix the minor things before the become big things. No knob on washing machine.

    Very nice clean property, conveniently located to everything on the island. Checking in and out was extremely easy and communication was quick, clear and thorough. Be aware the property is a duplex but pool is private and layout prevented any noise through the walls. WiFi was good, TVs and appliances, hot water all worked great. The basics are there for cooking but bring all your own basic spices, foil etc. There are plenty of great restaurants very close.

    Location and size of unit were both great. Heat went out during a cold spell and it took multiple calls/text and an extended amount of time to correct. Home needs a deep clean and general maintenance

    Home was beautifully decorated and very modern. Although it’s a duplex it’s designed to where the common walls do not share sound from neighbors. As others have said there is no extras like washing machine soap or a dishwasher but they did supply paper towels and plenty of paper goods. The backyard was a little unkept and bird feathers in the pool. Inside was extremely clean and nice large screen tv. AC ran nice and cool. Walk to beach and easy access to main streets.

    As others has stated.... Bring everything with you. Just in case. The kitchen has bare minimum so be aware. Beds are comfortable. House was good looking. Need some more love in the cleaning dept. WiFi for us didn't work due to hurricane not the property. Ac was awesome!! Bring blankets. Pool was fun ? obviously would be great bigger but that's pretty consistent on SPI. All in enjoyed it.
