Slaughter Beach Renovated 2023 Wonderful Views Beach Front, Fenced area for Pets

Absolutely lovely setting if you’re looking for a tranquil getaway surrounded by nature. Clean home with views of the bay and beautiful sunrises from the front deck and views of the marsh and sunsets from the back deck. Perfect location for bird watching and private beach walking. House was well equipped and very clean. Furniture was dated while bathrooms and appliances were updated. Access to remote for gas fireplace and access to beach umbrella was not available to us during our stay, which would have been nice. The location gave us easy access to great restaurants and shopping in nearby Milford and Lewes. Great hiking trails in nearby state parks and fun ferry ride to Cape May made this vacation getaway special!

We enjoyed ourselves immensely! What a gem! We enjoyed the unobstructed view of the bay, and the coziness of the home. It truly felt like home away from home. Ron was such a delight. He was quick to repair a leaky sink. We will absolutely come back!

The house was clean and in excellent condition. The kitchen had nice appliances, dishware, and silverware. The king bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was nice. And most importantly, the house had a great view of the bay.

A! We had a wonderful stay with our dog and a perfect vacation. The worst part was leaving at the end and knowing that I’ll miss that wonderful view of the bay. As others have suggested, the sunrise over the bay is spectacular and worth waking up early to see. Aside from the view, the home is wonderful as well and clean. Everything was as described in the listing and the photos are accurate. The hosts are very responsive and communicable but we didn’t have any issues that required their attention or assistance. As expected, the neighborhood was very quiet when we stayed. Also a plus was having a supermarket close by (about 14 mins driving) and some stores in the area. Overall, highly recommend for those desiring a beach vacation with a home on the beach! We would certainly stay again.

The sky views all around were exceptional! Watched the sun set behind us, watched the full moon rise from the bay, and then the sunrise the next morning. A quiet & peaceful stay. The house was perfect. About a 20 minute ride to big towns, but you feel as though you are in n the middle of nowhere. The house is very clean and has all the ameneties you would need for your stay!

Awesome location and very nice house. Ron was very helpful. Many extras such as chairs at beach, deck, fenced in area, fireplace. View from the sunroom facing water was outstanding. Nice quiet neighborhood. Great bike rides from house and close by. - we had a great time here. Highly recommended

This is our second year staying in this beach house. Great location, wonderful fenced yard for our dogs. This is the perfect place for our fall beach trip with our dogs. We love it and hope to return again next year

A very clean and well kept house on the shore of Delaware Bay. It’s a good place to chill and savor the bay breezes on the dune behind the house. We enjoyed our stay there. It’s a quiet, rural, beach community, but within a 15 minute drive of Lewes where there are some interesting shops and plenty of dining options. The Lewes Oyster House was particularly good for dinner.The dedicated outdoor dog area is well laid out and your dog can freely come and go from it to the house without fear of it running off.

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Slaughter Beach. The house was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The views of the water were beautiful, and we loved having access to a secluded beach just steps away. It was peaceful and quiet, a perfect spot to unwind. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat by the water.

We had a great stay! The house is beautiful and just a short walk to get to the beach. The beach is in a natural state and you see a lot of the horseshoe crab carcasses. There is absolutely nothing to do anywhere in Slaughter Beach, which is exactly what I wanted. Peace and quiet!We really lucked out with the weather, beautiful every day! It’s just a short ride to get to Lewes or Rehoboth Beach. We did have a nice dinner out at Matt’s Fish Camp in Lewes and did some shopping in Rehoboth. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay!

Such a lovely home! Clean and fresh and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our time tremendously. The fenced in yard (4 ft) was a wonderful convenience, too.

We had a wonderful relaxing week enjoyong the peacful location. The house, when we arrived was very clean and the bright beach decor was just what we had hoped for. We explored the area and found several.nice beaches. The municpal beach right down street is also worth a visit. Go.to Milton and try Po Boys restaurent for cajun/creole food. In Milford I highly reccomend My Sisters Fault for Puerto Rican/Dominican food. We even went to the state fair in Harrington. Thanks Ron and Anne, hope to visit again.

Such a wonderful place to stay. Great vibe with an amazing sunrise view. We will be staying here again the next time we come to Delaware. The owner, Ron, was fantastic and has such a wonderful energy around him.

Excellent get away. Family friendly and pet friendly. Its a lovely quiet beach. The place is nice and tidy. Two lovely bedrooms and w sofas for additional guest. The 2 bathrooms are great and have good water pressure. There is a washer/dryer to clean up wet towels and bathing suits. Full kitchen to cook meals. Excellent carport. Town is 15 minutes away. Recommend Surf Bagel. Will definitely stay here again.

Our third stay here was as good as the first two! House is super clean, tastefully decorated and has everything you could need or want. Views and solitude are perfect for a relaxing getaway. Owners are proactive in communication leading up to arrival, then allow you to enjoy the peace and quiet undisturbed. Our pup soaked up the sun and loved daily walks on the beach with us on this pet friendly vacation. Enjoyed some nice restaurants in nearby Milton but mostly just chilled and soaked in the natural beauty. 15/10!

After a 2 week stay we hated to leave. The views are absolutely amazing. Enjoying coffee watching the sun rise and cocktails watching the sun set from the beautiful unobstructed view from the sunroom is something to experience. We spent most of our time in the sunroom reading and listening to music. Hudson, our dog, loved his own space outside as well. A 20 minute ride to town where you can find anything and everything. This house is well equiped, clean, comfortable, well decorated, and so peaceful. Ron was in constant communication and very attentive. Anyone looking to get away from the hectic lifestyle this is the place. We will be booking again as this has become our Happy Place! Thanks Ron and Ann for sharing and see you again soon!

Clean, charming home with beautiful views of the bay and wetlands! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pup loved her fenced in yard and we all enjoyed finding treasures.on the beach. Ron and Anne are great hosts. We highly recommend this property.

We moved from SC to DE. We had a gap in time from our home in SC to having our home in DE ready for occupancy. We needed a home for the three of us, plus my mom’s chihuahua. We were beyond impressed with the home on the beach. It was about a 35 minute drive from our new home to there. It was so relaxing to come back to the beach after spending the day working at the new house. Looking out at that view just melted your cares away!We ran into an issue with our household goods being delayed a few days. We contacted the owner to see if it was possible to extend our stay; he accommodated us without an issue (thank God it was off season and no one else was renting for a few more days!)We would love to come back in warmer weather and enjoy the deck.Don’t hesitate staying here!

Visited this lovely beach home in January as I am a PA student rotating at the local hospital. Hosts were extremely responsive to questions addressed concerns quickly. Allows dogs which is very important as I bring mine wherever I go! Views of the beach from the house are lovely, even with the 12in of snow we got while I was there. Definitely would recommend coming here any time of year, the beach view can't be beaten in any weather!

The owners Ron and Anne are the best of the best! They were so very helpful and their rental home is absolutely beautiful. My dog loved being able to sit on the deck and make his way down to the fenced in area without any issues. The view of the bay is so relaxing and peaceful. I enjoyed the quiet and spent time reading. I am not a tv person, but if you are, there is a hugh one in the living area and good sized in each bedroom. I would recommend anyone wanting a relaxing time in December, to check it out. I look forward to spending time again any chance I get.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ron and Anne Anthony’s beautiful home with the million dollar view! Ron is the perfect host. He’s attentive when needed, but otherwise lets you enjoy your time. The place has everything you’ll need, the beds are very comfortable and the decor is warm and calming. Dogs are welcome and the setup for them is perfect. The location is great to get to things in Lewes/Rehoboth or Milton/Milford/Middletown, but mainly it’s perfect just to relax and enjoy the incredible peacefulness and beauty of the bay. We hope to be back!

Our second stay this year - this beautiful, comfortable, well equipped home with a nice little yard for the pup is a gem. Very peaceful this time of year - the bay and marsh views are wonderful, as is the stargazing at night. It was an easy drive from the DC area, and for us this was a perfect place for a getaway/refresh. Owners are great communicators and very responsive.

If you have a dog that can go up and down steps, this is the place for you! You can let your dog out on the deck and that goes down the steps into a fenced in area.....very nice. The house had cleaning supplies....and a swiffer in case your fur baby had an accident. There were condiments in the fridge...paper towels...coffee. The house was clean and so close to the water. I had to reach out to the owners regarding trash day and they replied very quickly. Would recommend this place!

The house was very clean and very nicely updated. If you like a quiet location this is the place to be. The small fenced in area for the dogs was very convenient.

My husband and I stayed at the house for a long weekend. Our 2 pups came and had a blast. The house and weather were absolutely perfect. The host, Ron, was very responsive. You couldn’t ask for a better location. I would highly recommend 503 Bay Ave and we hope to visit again soon!

We had a peaceful quiet stay at this “Beautiful” Beach house just what we were looking for! First time renters and all of our expectations were met! The hosts were wonderful and responded to any questions in a timely fashion, they were thoughtful in all the amendities offered. Our Chocolate Lab had so much fun we will be returning again! Great view. We enjoyed ocean sunrise in the family room or on the deck every day, and sunset on the other side of the house. Quiet neighborhood, convenient location, and beautiful views. It’s easy to get to Rehoboth Beach and the outlets. The owner was nice and very helpful if you need anything. Overall it was a good stay.

Anne and Ron are the best hosts! Their house is spotless with a gorgeous view. Ron is so helpful if you want to rent kayaks. We always know coming here will include a very clean house, comfortable beds, generous hosts, and a relaxing atmosphere. It’s a wonderful place.

This is a quiet community right on the beach. The house was clean and had many amenities. It was great for two couples to cook our own meals, play games, watch the boats and sunsets. The path to the very quiet beach and the two chairs beside the beach were great. We enjoyed the picnic table on the deck. We enjoyed riding our own bikes on the quiet streets. We would love to return again.
