Large well equipped home in Deer Valley. Great kitchen and communal rooms and incredible master bedroom. About a 10-15 minute drive to the slopes at Deer Valley resort or an easy ski-in-ski-out as long as you pay attention to directions and are willing to carry your skis a bit across/down the road for a short walk of about 5 minutes. Great home to enjoy - we stayed there with four adults and five kids and had plenty of room. A bit costly for the value but a fun time!
everything was perfect
Great set up and location for our two families total of 12, for a couple days of skiing. The place was a little worn, smelt like cigarette smoke when we first got there, but overall clean.
Enjoyed this house for our family ski trip. Property was well maintained and had most of the things we needed. We enjoyed the 2 living areas, dining table arrangement, heated boot rack, bunk bed room for kids. Suggestions to make it better: arrangement to have sloped driveway and connecting street scraped/salted during heavy snow (we got stuck more than once), more flatware in kitchen, upgrade on mattresses and pillows, replace hot tub cover (it is broken and dangerous). The access to ski lifts would have been a little easier except for the massive amount of snow when we were there. Overall, a nice place with plenty of room.
We had an awesome time with about 8 people in the property and room for many more. We loved the 2 different living rooms and the kitchen space was great. Really well designed to manage a lot of people and not feel on top of each other. The skiing was a short walk to where you can ski in and out but once you figured it out was super easy!
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall nice house with good layout for multiple people the exception of it was the beds and pillows were horrible. No one slept good, pillows are hard, sheets were hard, and the mattress were old, lumpy, stiff.. were all till dealing with back and neck issues
A short walk to Silver Lake
Room for 3 families and kids. Spacious. Just perfect!
Great house for 8 guys on our 20th annual ski trip. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen (with a few exceptions below). Having a comfortable seat for everyone around the corner table was perfect. The ski-out is very convenient. Ski-in only requires a 5 or 6 minute downhill walk on the neighborhood street. There was room for improvement by Alpine Ski Properties, the management company. The house was vacant two nights prior to our arrival and Jenny committed to call me on Tuesday to confirm early check in the next day. There was no call. I left a message prior to office hours Wednesday morning; still no callback. That was after Laura Lee, the outstanding after-hours service rep, took my call and also left a message at the office. I called again at noon and was told to check back later in the afternoon. When I stopped at the office at 2:30, they declined to provide the keys, saying that we needed to return shortly before 4:00 PM, even though we said we would wait until 4:00 to enter the house. Two days after we arrived, I received a call regarding our check-in. They confused me with another renter for a different property. The house was clean except for two garbage bags left in the garage, which we took to the nearby dumpster. There were no garbage bags for the kitchen but maintenance brought more after we called. The same occurred with dishwasher soap cubes two days later. Unfortunately, we broke a carafe for the coffee maker. A call to the office was answered with the promise of a replacement in 15-30 minutes. It never arrived. Two hours later, I called Laura Lee who apologized profusely and showed up at 8:00 PM with two brand new coffee makers because they had a smaller capacity. She was so kind and responsive on the occasions that I called. There was only one small dish towel, so we used hand towels. The dishwasher needs to be upgraded or replaced. The racks are worn out and terrible for holding dishes. The wooden front panel pops off frequently when opening the door. It would also be nice to have access to a broom rather than sweeping the kitchen floor on hands and knees with paper towels. The biggest disappointment was a grill with barely enough gas to hold a flame. We couldn’t use it on Super Bowl Sunday – our last day and the one day that we wanted to grill steaks and chicken. There’s a lot to like about this property but management needs to step up its game – especially at today’s prices.
This house was the perfect layout and proximity to the mountain for 13 friends to stay for my 40th birthday. The house was clean and comfortable. The challenges listed by other reviewers helped, so I contacted the property management company before to confirm it was cleaned, plenty of towels for 13 people (including hot tub), and plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. There was only 10 towels in the home and 2 hot tub towels. The property management company dropped more off right away. We all ran out of toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and paper towels (even though I sent 2 emails requesting this) . There was not full rolls on the toilet paper holders. I loved this house, but would keep pushing for adequate towels, cleaning products, and paper products.
