Stayed Feb 20, 2024The house well very well appointed and was perfect for our group of 7. Highlights include the hot tub, wood burning fireplace (with plenty of firewood in the garage) massive living room windows, boot/ glove dryer in the garage. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with all the essentials. Overall a very pleasant stay that worked almost perfectly for our group’s ski trip. Only downside was the ski in/ski out access. The listing is very descriptive about the need to go up approximately 100 stairs to access the ski runs however it was an additional uphill trudge at the top of the stairs to reach the run. And ski in access was impossible given the lack of snow during our late February trip but that’s to no fault of the property owners/managers. If there is snow the ski in/ski out would have been fine (not amazing, but serviceable). As it was, we ended up just driving into town to park at the base (3 min drive). Overall good communication from the manager. Would stay there again.

Stayed Jan 28, 2024The place was clean, well furnished, with all the amenities we needed. The hosting company was responsive and easy to deal with. Overall a great stay! Some things to call out: Pros: - Kitchen was very, very well stocked - Plenty of towels and bedding for everyone - Easy checkin and checkout processes - Good location, close to town and ski runs Cons: - As mentioned elsewhere, there is a bit of a steep hike (with partial stairs) to the ski run. Able bodies skiers and boarders should have no issue, but the place is not exactly ski-in ski-out

Stayed Jan 6, 2024I would have given the home a 5 but there were a few things that I didn’t agree with. It’s not ski in ski out it’s a hike to get to the hill to ski down to the gondola/ lift. ( others said that in reviews) The dishwasher needs to be fixed or replaced, you shouldn’t have to hold the top drawer in while you load the bottom! This may seem silly but if your coffee pot requires a melita type filter supply that not the flat bottom type that doesn’t fit properly. Pluses hot tub was great and there were plenty of towels, toilet paper and tissues. Beds were comfortable and there were was plenty of cooking equipment. Garage is heated so that’s great if you bring a vehicle. It’s close to the village but you have to walk on the street sidewalk only partially cleared of snow.

Stayed Apr 2, 2023This was our family's first trip to Whistler and after chatting with others who have been previously and reading lots of reviews, we picked this condo because of its proximity to the Village (lessons for kids) without being right in the very middle of all the activities. It did not disappoint. True to other reviews, it's not really a ski in/ski out location, especially this late in the seasons and with the lift construction going on at the bottom of the mountain, but that was fine with us (my husband did ski in one day - so it's possible, but LOTS of stairs and not for a beginning skier). That said, the walk into town even in ski boots was doable. At the end of a long day skiing, we were very thankful to have a roomy, quiet retreat with our own hot tub. It was an easy trip to Creekside in the car and a nice walk/drive to the Upper Village (in regular boots/shoes). The house itself was well appointed with a nice kitchen stocked with pretty much all the utensils, appliances, etc. you could ask for and then some. The layout was great with the primary bedroom on the top floor and the kids rooms on the bottom floor with shared living spaces on the middle level, allowing for great separation at night. It would be great for 2 families as well as long as one set of parents doesn't mind sharing a bathroom with the kids. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Feb 25, 2023Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, nice entertainment system. Garage was also well stocked with wood for the fireplace. Property manager communicated very well and addressed any concern we had in short notice. The only issue was the ski out. I would not consider this a ski out, but ski in was accurate. The steps and the icy hill leading to the slopes was a considerable workout--even if you are fit. However, the 10 minute walk to the Village was enjoyable and the ski in was very convenient at the end of the day. I would recommend this place as it is very well appointed in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood.

Stayed Mar 20, 2022We SO enjoyed our stay at northern lights #11. The condo was really thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed - tons of fresh towels, a fully stocked kitchen (the espresso maker was a big hit), washer and dryer with detergent, etc. The hot tub on the back deck with its view of the mountains was absolutely dreamy. The only drawback was mountain access. There is a trail from the condo area that you can use to get to the Lower Olympic run. I had seen some reviews complaining about the stairs on that trail, so we were expecting them, and they were honestly not too bad. It's the trail from the run to the top of the stairs that we found impossible to go up and sketchy to go down. I'm guessing it was made worse by the multiple thaw / refreezes that happened during our stay, but that trail was like a luge chute. At the end of the day, we could slide down it on our bottoms to get to the stairs but none of us could find a way to go up. Instead, we walked to the village each morning which wasn't too bad since it's downhill - about 15 minutes to get to the main gondolo / village. Big shout out to the property manager forgoing above and beyond to make us comfortable throughout the experience. They run a first class operation and communicate extremely well. Would 100% recommend and would love to book a return trip!

Stayed Mar 5, 2020We had a group stay and we enjoyed the house, especially the hot tub. Very spacious with a full kitchen. The one issue is the location. It is a long walk up the road, steps and then the trail to the ski hill when hauling skis. Access to ski in/ski out is a bit of a stretch. 10-15 min walk to the village is manageable. Like I said though, it is a great house.
