Stayed Jun 24, 2023Beautiful, quiet location close to the Interstate for easy travel to Seattle area or Eastern Washington. Owner has outfitted the cabin with everything you might need while on vacation! Just wish there were curtains on windows in living room and on the side windows of upstairs master bedroom.

Stayed Jan 30, 2026Everything with the cabin was good except the internet was missing their plugs and the bathroom door was broken upon check in. Maintenance delivered the chords and patched the door enough to get by for our stay. Outside of not having those things for half the time of our stay it was great.

Stayed Dec 28, 2024This place has a soul. It's cozy. The views are fabulous. The double beds would make Princess on the Pea happy. The underfloor heating makes it extra warm. The extra touches (like little bars of soap and laundry capsules) make you feel like it was your mother who prepared it for you. You can easily forgive the tiny imperfections (e.g. absence of a draining board) for the tremendous character and atmosphere.

Stayed Jan 5, 2025This place was so great! The space is perfect. It feels very cozy because it's separated by three floors but there is plenty of space. It's very tranquil and you feel like you're alone in the woods. There's plenty of wood and the fire is so nice. The upstairs had lots of sleeping space and the downstairs room is super comfortable. The couch on the main level even pulls out to a bed. There are decks in front and back. It's close to Silver Fir where I love to ski. We were so happy to be able to watch Tulsa King and Landman! The kitchen had everything we needed. We very much enjoyed our stay and will come back again for sure!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969On arrival the house was pretty cold. I realized the main form of heat is the wood stove with only a few small space heaters. There was no kindling cut or paper to start a fire and we had to improvise. Carpets are very dirty and the couch has lots of stains.

Stayed Jun 26, 2024House is a bit smaller than it appears online and the spiral stairs weren’t the easiest to deal with…problem only because navigating them after a 100 mile race proved difficult. I’m probably the only one with that problem though. Otherwise it was great, very pretty area and competitively priced. Would definitely recommend this house considering the pricing of all the other available places in the area.

Stayed Feb 28, 2024First of all it has to be said that this is not a Ski-in/out in terms of downhill skiing. I would say this is very misleading given the fact that is it very close to the mountain and yet you cannot see the exact location of the house until after you book it. Second, when we arrived at the house it had not snowed for 2 days and was raining and yet there was still 8 of mushy nasty snow in the drive that never got cleared for us prior to arrival. Our 4 wheel drive vehicle almost did not make it up the driveway, and one time slid back down the driveway on its own. I asked the maintenance to come clear it and was told there was a shovel that I could use to take care of it myself. After texting them several times, they finely came to plow the snow the day before we were checking out. The house itself is great. A bit rustic in terms of heating and a very much up north cabin feel that we really like. I give this house a 5 star review, but the description and the issue with the snow really put a sour taste in everyone's mouth.
