Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, a great property!! Everything was clean and in good condition. Only complaint is the HVAC system in the home, with the thermostat on the main level, you would only be comfortable on that level, basement was too warm, and upstairs was freezing. They did have a space heater in the upstairs to help. We would still stay at this property again, definitely not a deal breaker. Location was awesome and you could see the skybridge from the home. Lot's of space and the kids loved the air hockey. Hot tub was perfect!!

The bedrooms are spacious and extremely inviting. The living spaces are beyond comfortable and elegant. The owners made this place the perfect spot on the mountain. We will be making this an annual trip with our family and extended family. LOTS OF SPACE!

We enjoyed the large hot tub in the evenings and sitting by the fire. Highly recommend!

We loved the new air hockey / ping pong table. The outdoor hot tub is also a favorite. The house has a large room for winter gear and has ski-in / ski-out accessibility to Boyne Mountain. This was our 4th year staying at the Alpine House, and we can't wait to come back!

The kids loved the bunk room and we didn't feel like we were climbing on top of each other. The kitchen was well equipped and we had ample fridge space for all of our food items. There was a ski lift a short hike away!Huge con -- the hot tub would not ever get hot enough and throughout the week we noticed that there was less and less hot water. The upstairs shower barely had warm water since the beginning of the week but the other showers we didn't notice couldn't keep up the temperature until Wednesday night/Thursday morning. At first we thought it was just because there were so many of us and we were running the dishwasher a lot but by Thursday evening we didn't have any hot water at all. As soon as we notified Great Escapes they were quick to respond but it felt like something we had to bother with during our vacation. I would recommend this property! As long as it had hot water next time :)

Reviewer Comments: Place was great!Two things that should be addressed or perhaps fixed for future guests.1) Front door- the top doesn’t close flush, leaving a draft2) The beverage fridge door doesn’t close unless you lift the fridge slightly. Sometimes this goes unnoticed & the fridge tries to work overtime to keep up. It just needs an adjustment to make it fit properly in its space under the island.

We wish we owned this house! Beautiful and the decor, tile, hardware, furniture was cozy. Would love to know where you purchased the decor from. The bunk beds were long and comfy. If I may make a few suggestions. Have a full size mirror behind door in bunk room and the downstairs bath with the two separate showers was great only wish there was a niche to put your items on. Outside big spider web near BBQ by outlet, wish it was taken care of before our arrival. The host was very nice and responded quickly. Perfect for accommodating large groups we had a great time and made amazing memories. Thank you :)

The renter was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole stay. We would definitely go back again.
