Ski House on Lake Rescue, 3.5 Miles from Okemo

A spacious cabin tucked away in the woods, on a beautiful Vermont lake. House served us well for a few days of skiing, but some updates could make it even better! TV room furniture and upstairs baths could use a refresh, but house is as pictured so no complaints! Great hosts and communication - responsive and helpful!

This is a wonderful home, everything about it is very comfortable. The finishes are clearly something you’d want for yourself, it feels like you’re staying in someone’s home instead of a rental property. The owners are very thoughtful and messaging is clear. In particular, they’ve set up the kitchen thoughtfully and you can prepare and enjoy meals with a beautiful view of Lake Rescue. Love this property and hope to return soon.

Our family of 5 had a great time. The view of the lake is so peaceful and we made good use of the kayaks, nearby golf course, and a hike to the fire tower on Okemo. Communication with the owner was excellent and they were readily available to help troubleshoot two issues that arose. A great spot to slow down and unwind!

My family and I had a great stay at the house. It was perfect for us. Close to skiing at Okemo and a very picturesque setting on the lake. Joelle is very responsive to questions. Great house would highly recommend.

Our stay was wonderful. The rooms were great size and 3 full baths were perfect for our group! Kitchen is remodeled, has plenty of utensils, pots/pans, etc...and very cozy. The living room with fireplace was fantastic. The place came with a ton of firewood too! Our stay was in the winter and our plan was to hit Okemo each day. The drive to Okemo was about 10 minutes so the location was great. Had we stayed in the summer, OMG, the location right on the water would've been incredible. We highly recommend this place for any family or slightly larger group for a stay in the summer or winter.

Great stay; a lovely location and well-stocked kitchen. A few small things could have made it better - shampoo, conditioner, body wash and tissues were not provided; upstairs bathrooms could use some updating and a deep cleaning (some mold on caulk, missing trim on some doorways). Be aware that 4WD is needed to get out to the main road after fresh snow.

The house exceeded our expectations! We were 7 adults and there was more than enough room for all. The kitchen is well supplied with wares. The location and view is wonderful.

Beautiful house right on the lake- we had a great time (2 families, 8 people) the house comfortably accommodated us, and our host was excellent. Great location, very nice kitchen features. Overall we were very pleased with our stay- no problems whatsoever.

What a wonderful stay. The home was so comfortable and clean with lovely views. Kitchen, bathrooms, sleeping, and living spaces were all very nice. Communication with the owner was excellent and instructions were very clear. We hope to return soon to experience another season at their lovely home!

We enjoyed our stay here. The place was beautiful I got some great pictures of the Eagle and we caught lots of fish. Some big bass catfish and more! We took the kayaks out each day and only had one rain day which was still peaceful staying in. The inside was clean and very comfortable would definitely recommend
