Soak up the beautiful setting from the peaceful screened porch or the luxurious hot tub! The main level features a spacious open floor plan including a family room with vaulted ceiling, and dining area that seats 10. Additional seating is available at the countertop. Kitchen offers two dishwashers to make meal clean upsa breeze. Downstairs is the rec room with a ping pong table, smart TV, DVD player and Wii.

All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available.

The driveway fits 2-4 cars depending on size. Extra cars may be parked in resort lots. Guests may use the garage but may not park in it.

Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities.

Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am during which time the noise from the house shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors.
No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents.

This home has designated parking (a driveway). All tires must be off the roadway if parked on the road.
Do not block fire hydrants.
Do not park in front of another property.
There is an overflow parking area if needed, located at 4007 Peak Drive, Massanutten.
Buses, campers, and RV’s may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads.
Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed.

No open fires permitted in Massanutten.
This is a high wildfire risk area!
Fires are strictly prohibited at this property and in the community shared spaces.
Grills may be restricted during local emergency conditions.

No illegal substances are permitted at the home and open containers of alcohol are prohibited on any road or common area.

Pre-approved dogs are required to be on a leash when outside.
You must clean up after your pets.

All Trash must be taken to the dumpsters located at 4007 Peak Drive, Massanutten, at check out.
A minimum fee of $75 will be assessed if trash is not removed.
Trash may not be left outside the home as it will attract wildlife which could endanger you and damage the property.
Trash should be removed regularly.

No smoking inside the house. Smoking in the house will incur a $750 fine. Smoking is allowed outside of the house, but all butts are to be cleaned up and safely removed.

*This home is located in the woods. You will likely see insects (including some that fly) and arachnids. Please be aware they may come inside when doors are opened, especially when lights are on inside.

    It was a great location to relax and connect. Not walkable due to no sidewalks, but we were able to walk around the neighborhood to get some exercise and just had to watch for traffic. The walls were thin and I could hear the person in the room above us walking...he may have been a heavy walker, but a rug should help keep the creaking to a minimum. It did not detract from the overall calm, quiet and ability to enjoy being together.

    The property was as described. Compared to other places we thought it was one of the nicer places with plenty of supplies in the kitchen. Lots of blankets for all the beds. We enjoyed the stay and would stay there again!

    The house was perfect and very well equipped. They had plenty of kitchen equipment, extra blankets and pillows, and games for the kids. The rooms are laid out very well so everyone had their own space. It was in excellent condition and very clean, and in great proximity to the ski activities.Everyone enjoyed the decks, hot tub, and Mountain View’s. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

    We had a great family vacation and were very pleased with our stay at the Acorn Lodge. The management company VPMS was very responsive with all my inquires before our arrival. The property was well kept. We loved that the house has two dishwashers to accommodate a large group. We also enjoyed playing ping pong in the basement.

    What a lovely cabin for a big group to share! We were impressed with the fresh and stylish decor. The cabin has obviously had a recent renovation and it’s nicely decorated too. Lots and lots of comfy beds and bedrooms, and the way the downstairs was set up more for kids while the upstairs was more grown-up worked really well for our group that ranged from 1 yr olds to 65 years old!
