Six houses from stunning sandy Captiva Beaches !

Beautiful house. Good location. Unfortunately there were a lot of odd and annoying issues. The main bathroom only has a shower and a toilet so you have to open 2 doors with your gross hands to use the sink in the bedroom or kitchen. The stairs from the loft are slippery and not safe for kids. The mattress in the pool house is very hard. The light switch for the very bright light above the bed in the pool house was broken and we were unable to turn it off for two days; we had to get the owner to send a worker to disable the light. We were supplied with a keycode for an electronic lock but were not given the key for the secondary mechanical lock; as a result, we accidentally locked the outside doors and maintenance had to come to pick the lock. The propane grill had an empty tank, and maintenance had to come to drop off a new tank. Mosquitoes and bird poop by the pool. Everyday supplies are a real issue. Only a single day supply of tiny bottles of soap, shampoo, cleaning supplies were left out. If it were a hotel you could call down to the front desk to have them delivered right away. We booked this house for 10 people but only 5 showed up and we ran out of soap, shampoo on the first day. We sent a message to support and a few more tiny bottles were delivered the next day after we already went out and shopped for all the kitchen and cleaning supplies. Beware: all the stores on the island close at 6PM, so if you need something after that then you have to drive to the mainland

We loved this home! The beds were so comfy (and tall!), the kitchen was well-equipped, the pool area/pool house were wonderful. We had numerous visits from a few GIANT IGUANAS (which was both startling and cool!) We would definitely love to stay again.

The house was perfect for our family. We would definitely rent this house again -- quiet street, some construction but that is to be expected right now! We had an issue with the upstairs shower leaking through the ceiling and a leak with the hose outside, but really nice property. The check in process was a bit of a nightmare waiting to get into a property until 4:30 is crazy == the whole day wasted.

Amarelo Sol is a very comfortable, well-equipped house, very close to the beach and to the town center. A great spot.

This house is setup so well. Our kids enjoyed the pool! The kitchen is spacious, and equipped with great appliances. Everyone always had a seat whether for a meal or ending your day in front of the TV. The beds were comfortable, and bathrooms were setup nicely. We had two golf cart for the week and they fit nicely out front. The house is mid-way on the street, and was a breeze to get back and forth to the beach. We can’t wait to book this property again!

We were fortunate to snag this home at the very last minute when our travel plans changed. It was a short walk to the beach. The setup was perfect for 3 couples, and four children. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the backyard. It was a short walk to restaurants and other activities in town. We had some internet issues, which were resolved quickly by the property manager. We would definitely recommend this for anyone wishing to enjoy beautiful Captiva Island!
