Sis’s Cottage - Southport, NC

This house is everything everyone has said about it in the comments. Very quiet comfortable area just a 5 minute walk from the main business district and waterfront areas. I'd definitely come back for another visit.

Absolutely loved the cleanliness, style and location. We brought our own shampoo, conditioner, etc. However an available hair dryer would've been a nice convenience.

Immaculate, well- equipped kitchen, walkable to restaurants, waterfront, beautiful parks & more. Powered is very responsive to any questions.

What a quaint cottage! Right in the heart of Southport - walkable to EVERYTHING. Extremely clean, well appointed, with a totally stocked kitchen for cooking in. The yard was perfect for our dog.I cannot overstate how nice the property was. We will DEFINITELY come back!

Sis's Cottage was everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Great backyard, fully fenced for dogs or kids to play. Beautifully decorated. Host is very friendly and responds quickly. Walking distance to anything and everything. Can't wait to stay again.

The house was spotless. Beautifully decorated. No bugs! Great location. Quiet . Within walking distance of river and shops.We had to leave a couple days early because of an emergency at home but hope to be back.

This is an awesome home which is decorated so well and stocked with all you need. It is in a wonderful location close to everything. The owner, Gail, communicates quickly. It is the only place we like to stay at in Southport.

This was our 5th stay at Sis's Cottage. As in the past, we enjoyed the peaceful environment and easy access to town, the waterfront, and our favorite restaurants. We hope to continue our annual visits.

Our daughter is going to be working at Oak Island at Fort Castle for the upcoming year doing an internship. We went down and stayed in Southport so we could help her move in at Fort Caswell. The cottage is spacious and very comfortable. It has lovely sitting areas, inside and out and a very well equipped kitchen. The location in Southport is perfect for walking to restaurants, tennis, a park and the waterfront.

This was a great location in town and the cottage was perfect for us. My husband and I stayed with our teenage son and a friend while we were in town visiting friends. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was walkable to everything in town and very quiet with minimal traffic which was nice. We would love to stay again when we come back to Southport. The beds were comfortable, linens were provided and the home was very functional and convenient. Thanks!

We loved our stay in this Southport property. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had great utensils and appliances. We enjoyed the front porch and the short walk to shopping, restaurants and the waterfront. This was the Southport experience we were looking for and Sis' Cottage was perfect for our family.

We enjoyed our stay and found the cottage very clean, and welcoming with all the comforts of home. We especially enjoyed the nautical artwork and porch rocking chairs. The cottage is centrally located for easy walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and shops. Hope to enjoy Sis’s Cottage again.

Pictures don’t do it justice. The attention to detail in this home is above and beyond. Very clean and cozy. Beds sleep well! Layout is perfect! The fenced in backyard is a great bonus! We loved every moment in this beautiful home.

Three nights in Southport was a great time.

My husband and I along with our young adult son and his girlfriend decided we needed a trip to the NC Coast, and Sis’s Cottage was the perfect spot! The house is exactly as listed. It was spotless and very well stocked! The only thing I did not realize before hand, the upstairs bedroom has a barn door into the bedroom, but not one into the bathroom. There is a barn door on the other side of the bathroom into the small bedroom with the twin bed. It wasn’t a big deal, just something I didn’t realize. We loved everything about the house. We will definitely return!

Great house, wonderful location for walking!

Overall fantastic stay! Me, my husband and mother loved the location and house, close to son’s home. Only 2 issues: some pans in cabinet had to be washed ( prob fault of previous renter); construction next door on both sides days after Christmas, not much of problem- workers not too loud and house well insulated— only effect was when dog went out he barked— but not much! Deacon was a good dog and had a great time too! Host was delightful and helpful with small booking issue!

This is our second time staying here and we love Sis's Cottage. It's close to town, on a quiet street, and so clean! The weekend we stayed had a lot of Christmas festivities so the proximity to town made it easy to see some fun stuff! With it being pet friendly meant we could take our dog with us and she loved walking up and down the street! We will be back!

Southport is such a lovely town and Sis's Cottage is a wonderful place to stay while visiting. Cozy and charming are the two words that come to mind. Everything one needs is provided.

This cottage is very welcoming, nicely decorated, super clean and location is great for walking to the great things there are to do in Southport. The owner is very in tune with those visiting by way of amenities and comfort!

I've stayed at many vrbo's and this one was the best one! It was clean, the kitchen was well stocked (which is rare), cute as a button, and comfortable. Perfectly placed within Southport to walk everywhere. We enjoyed staying here!!!

This property is perfect for us. Nice neighborhood for walking our dog, and the town is so fun and historic. We love it here!

We enjoy a yearly visit to Southport and this location was great! Within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do and eat and eat and eat! Wonderful house, located centrally in Southport. Extremely well stocked. within walking distance of almost everything in town. Very peaceful. Could not have had a better time.

The house was perfect! The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs!! Everything that you might need was in the house! The owners are very friendly and quick to assist you! We had a problem with the tv and it was resolved very quickly despite us being there during hurricane Debby! Can’t wait to stay again!
