Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your use.

    What a wonderful property, location, and property management company!My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights with our daughter-in-law and 20 month old grandson.Very comfortable for all of us. Weather was in the mid-70’s most of the time and with the windows open at night we did ok without AC. I’m guessing that could be an issue with hotter weather however.LOVED all the outdoor seating. Kitchen was adequately stocked. Windandsea beach nearby is a beautiful beach and one of my husband and my favorites BUT not the best for babies/toddlers- but we knew that going in and just drove to a nearby beach for out main beach day.But the big surprise for me was how accommodating and responsive the property management company was!! We had a major flight delay on our departure date, and they were able to push the cleaning until 4 PM so that we could stay in the house until then- without me even having to ask explicitly!! That was a HUGE deal with a baby to accommodate for the day! Highly recommend Drift Vacation Homes!!One suggestion would be to stock the master bedroom bed with more pillow options. They had two sets of king size pillows on the king bed, and they were all the same firmness level. Unfortunately they were all very thick and firm and not particularly usable, at least for us. We were able to find some usable pillows in one of the extra bedrooms, but if we had been a larger group that wouldn’t have been possible and we would probably have had to buy some.

    Kolmar Street as a great vacation summer rental. Proximity to the beach and several cute shops and little restaurants to walk to is great. We ran into one little issue and the management company solved right away and I was very appreciative and happy that they resolved the issue so quickly and in our favour. I would definitely rent this property again.

    Amazing place. Very clean. Plenty of amenities. We loved how there were beach chairs, beach towels and a wagon. It's very rare to find a place with those items. The outdoor shower right in the front yard was great so we weren't tracking sand around. We were walking distance to Bird Rock, La Jolla Cove, and literally right at Wind and Sea. The roof tops (yes two!) were so luxuries and relaxing. We can't wait to come back!

    Overall, this property was clean and comfortable and is nicely located. We enjoyed the living spaces, especially the outdoor areas where we enjoyed watching the sunset. The walls are rather thin and noises are easily heard both within and outside the house. The bathroom in the main bedroom has a shower curtain for the door, which was a bit of a surprise. There was a clothes steamer which was a nice touch and came in handy. The check in and out directions were convenient and simple to follow. It would be a nice place to return to one day.

    A bit overpriced fees are getting ridiculous then when asked for late checkout I was told it would be 50 dollars one of faucets in master bath is very loose. Inside beautiful outside cushions need some help

    Our family really enjoyed our stay in La Jolla. The house was perfect for our family of 4, but could certainly accommodate more. We loved the rooftop deck for morning coffee and happy hour. There are also multiple other outdoor places to hang which is so important when traveling. Front patio, back patio and another deck off of a bedroom. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Lots of beach towels and beach chairs/beach umbrella. Check in was seamless and check out was so simple. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!

    We had a wonderful time, family of 5 in this beautifully appointed home. The two outdoor decks were wonderful for quiet time, as was the front of the home which was equipped with an outdoor shower and lounge sofas to relax after a day out on the water/beach. Just steps away from Windandsea beach made for a nice stroll every morning, and a very short drive to La Jolla shores as well as plenty of food options. Fabulous and and would stay again. This is located on a quiet street which is exactly what we were looking for.

    Everything about this rental was perfect for our family of 4 (2 teenage kids). The house had everything we needed and more, the kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy, and the ample patio and deck space made for great reading, relaxing, and spending quality family time together. There were also plenty of toiletries, fish and laundry detergent, and toilet paper. The location worked well for us, about a block and a half from the beach (amazing sunsets), a few restaurants and coffee shops that are walkable. The walk back from the beach is rather steep but luckily we are in good health and didn’t have any issue with it. I also enjoyed taking walks in the morning and taking in the gorgeous views of the ocean as well as the incredible homes in the area. We are from the east coast and in prior reviews others mentioned no AC. It was pretty warm (80 degrees) a couple of the days we were there and the house cooled down perfection at night and the no AC didn’t bother us one bit. We hope to return sometime soon!

    This location is great for a quiet foot traffic spot centrally located to activities from San Diego to Carlsbad. The property has amble room with multiple out door seating options. The two located on the main floor have shade and the front location offers a great option for relaxing after a beach day. The second floor patio is great and the rooftop patio offers ocean views. For those concerned about no central AC…welcome to So Cal. Keep the windows open throughout the day and you’ll sleep cool enough with or without the included floor fans. Our family would definitely stay here again!

    This was a great propert for our family of five. The house was very close to the beach, and the beach chairs and beach towels were a great bonus. The house was well equipped and had a well stocked kitchen, dishwasher/laundry pods. The views from the top deck were great at sunset and the seating area over the garage was a great escape. From this location we were able to get to every family destination (zoo, sea world, Torrey Pines, Midway, Petco Park) in under 30 minutes. We would definitely stay again!
