Serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation away from the loud busy city

We had a really good time and enjoyed all the amenities the house had to offer. Jason was a GREAT host!! He was attentive and responsive!

Well stocked home made a very comfortable experience. Kitchen was large with plenty of dishes/tools and very clean. Lots of linens, soap, trash bags were a great touch to take the stress out of travel. Host usually replied quickly. Hot tub was clean and nice. Beds were small, but comfortable. The beach was our favorite part, great weather, very clean and LOVED the singing and. It was a good experience, would highly recommend, we had a blast!

Pros: Back yard was bigger in person and completely enclosed. Jacuzzi. Very cute set up. Doggo friendly. Nice quiet neighborhood with a brewery right down the road. Cons: Fire pit but no wood. Bbq's but no propane/charcoal. Cute coffee bar but only a single serving of coffee. And the kitchen lacks the basic utensils if you like to cook (cutting boards, etc) Missing the little touches that 5 stars have. Our experience, a 5 star is where you check in and dont need to leave for anything. But I'm very comfortable giving this a 4.

Everything was perfect!Very clean and neat. The instructions for checking-in were very clear and every thing was setup and ready Towels, foldable chairs to take to the beach. Internet, etc. We just arrived and there was nothing that we needed, even charcoal for the grill. The host is very responsive, but we barely contacted him as nothing was needed. Excellent place to stay worry free if you like a quiet neighborhood where you can rest. We will return!

We stayed for four nights with four children - the house was clean, well stocked with essentials for cooking and cleaning, and the kids loved the smore station and playing in the back yard.

This home is lived-in and practical enough that we felt comfortable bringing our very toddler-like toddler, but with new touches of luxury where it really counts, like the bathroom and kitchen appliances. It was a really cute touch that s'mores materials were provided. Very minimal effort to baby-proof (moving some decorations onto higher shelves), Pack n' Play provided was clean and new, and the property felt safe and secure. Walking distance to botanical gardens (which have a fantastic playground,) easy drive to some major beaches and hikes in Indiana Dunes. We were able to go out for meals and hikes and easily return back for baby naptimes in between. The host is communicative and helpful. When we noticed the table was unstable, a professional was dispatched next-day to fix it. Highly recommended for families, even if you have a toddler!

The home was really nice and realy clean. The hot tub was such a great add on in the well keep back yard. The tub was extremely clean, warm and the jets were powerful.. When i come back to the area will definitely re-book that property.

We had a nice time and enjoyed the hot tub, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen as well as the hospitality. The house was clean and some beach towels are provided. It was in a quiet neighborhood that was close to the beach, the Dunes state and national parks as well as restaurants. The house needs some maintenance though. The carpet tacks are coming through the carpet in several areas and stabbed our toes repeatedly. There are a few places around the house that need repair such as peeling paint in the master bathroom, a big dent in the wall in a closet and some mold on the wall and ceiling in the bunkbed room.

We loved staying at this house for a weekend. It was cozy, had everything we needed and the most exciting it had a hot tub! hot tub looked new and was very clear. The place was also clean and cozy. We had an amazing stay and would stay there again!

Hot tub jets were barely pushing water out. Showers had mold and filth on the curtains. Staples/nails sticking out of carpet which got caught on all of our socks and stabbed our feet. Host did not respond to my emails about complaints until after checkout. We enjoyed our time and would return if these issues get handled.

It was lovely. The house was clean, the owners very responsive, the back yard was fun for the family. Everything needed was provided. Location made it easy to get where we wanted quickly. Will rent again!

This house could not have been more perfect for us. We, four retirees, and our fur babies had the best trip. The home is located in a quiet small town area with a forest/ park across the street. We were able to soak in the hot tub while the dogs played in the yard. The house is close to New Buffalo as well as Indiana Dunes National Park. We ate every meal except one out and there are incredible restaurants close by. The home has a large comfortable sectional sofa, nice high top table for six, and recently updated kitchen. We slept very comfortably in the beds. Also, we did have s’mores over the fire pit - thank you! The owners are fabulous to work with. They check in on you and answer any questions/requests promptly.

We couldn’t have asked for more. House was clean, cozy, and our hosts were friendly. We enjoyed our time with friends. Enjoyed the grill, spotless hot tub and cozy yard with a few drinks in hand. Thank you! We will be back.

Loved the peace and quiet and how close we were to all of the local amenities. Would definitely recommend!
