Silver Creek: Semi-Oceanfront, Private Pool, Hot Tub

We reviewed many rentals as we searched for just the right place for our vacation. Silver Creek checked all our boxes - lots of room, great neighborhood (on a quite, dead end street), salt water pool, hot tub, sauna, ocean view, with a very short walk to the beach. We truly enjoyed our stay in this clean, well maintained beach house. So much, we have already reserved it again for next year!

Our family of 14 really enjoyed this spacious, cheery and well eqipped home. Ample bedrooms, abundant dining space, restful rooms for lounging and all the gear to enjoy pool, beach and hot tub. It's all here. Thanks again to our hosts!

The home is perfectly situated at the beach access. The various spaces located throughout the home offer enough space and activities for different groups. 3 Covered porches, pool, hot tub, sauna, various living spaces for kids and adults. Overall it was a great vacation for all.

Loved the location and all of the spaces in the house. Everything was kept up well so we were able to comfortably fit and enjoy all of the amenities. We hope to stay here again.

Everything you would want combining a great location with an ultra clean house with all the necessary amenities. Property management was excellent.

We've stayed at this house for a few years and love it. Things we love about the house: the location is ideal being so close to downtown Duck and the beach, having a real garage (which is rare in this area), having extra bikes in the garage is a nice perk, very nice pool and hot tub, having two master bedrooms, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is nicely stocked with cooking equipment (which has been an issue at other homes), they have a nice selection of games/books during rainy days, and the screened in porch off the kitchen is a great place to eat or let your clothes dry. The house could be a little cleaner. As a rental, I don't expect it to be perfect, but I found myself noticing dirty baseboards, corners, shower crevices this year. I'm a clean freak so it would likely go unnoticed by most. I'd also prefer a gas vs. charcoal grill. All in all this is a wonderful place to stay and very close to perfect IMO. We will rent this house again and I'd even buy it if it was for sale!

I was so pleasantly surprised by the location of this house. It was located at the very end of a dead end street so the road that you see in the pictures is just to turn into the driveway. The street was quiet and the beach was not crowded but it was a short drive for groceries or to Duck for shops and restaurants. We have been coming to the OBX for about ten years. We have only stayed at two other houses and decided to give this one a try. It was unanimous that this will be THE house. The kitchen was well appointed with extra cupboard space for grocery items. We had a few meals out on the screened porch that overlooked the pool. We got to enjoy the best of both worlds -- pool and beach. It was nice that they had beach chairs and umbrellas for use so we didn't have to rent them.

Great 1st visit to the OBX with family - great location, wonderful floor plan
