Ellensburg, Washington
This is an actual grain bin/silo converted into a very cozy living space! It is equipped with a full kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. A comfortable queen bed is upstairs that sleeps two and large couch downstairs could sleep a child comfortably. There is a large deck with a 2 person hot tub just outside the upstairs bedroom. Below is a large back patio with a BBQ and fire pit. It is located 5 minutes from town and half block from a 100 acre park.
A hidden gem in Ellensburg! We stayed one night in this beautiful silo when we were attending a show at the gorge. It was a very hot weekend and we were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the temperature was in the silo. The bed and downstairs sofa were very comfortable and although we didn’t use it, the kitchen is well equipped. We will hopefully return sometime and take advantage of the hot tub. Town was close by with many dining options. Great communication with the owner, Ben. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
What a cute place. Great hot tub where you can see the stars. Highly recommended. Bring your own blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. I didn’t see any there.
Adorably decorated. Looks straight out of Pinterest. Has everything you need. Cute neighborhood walk with a park. Only issue was neighbor’s dog who was having a bad day.
Sensational silo with great functionality. We came for the 100th anniversary ellensburg rodeo and to visit friends. Enjoyed our time.
This is a real silo but completely new and squeaky clean. There is a well-appointed kitchen and seating area downstairs. The spiral staircase to the second level bedroom and bathroom has a washer/dryer and large big screen TV. There is also a good sized deck off the second level with a clean hoot tub. The neighborhood is pretty old but the big bonus is that a very large park is a couple blocks away which includes pickleball and an off leash dog park. We enjoyed our stay at the silo!
My wife and I (and our dog) stayed 2 nights at the Silo in Ellensburg. The accommodations were super cute and the layout of the interior had all that we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the couch was as well! We also appreciated the close proximity to the park where we were able to take our dog for a walk. We would stay here again!
Really nice place! Loved the hot tub!
Super cute, clean, comfy bed. Loved this fun spin on a tiny house and hope to stay again next summer.
Such a fun cute place to stay I highly recommend it!! Short distance from town. It was equipped with everything we needed including small hot tub!
We had a last minute emergency come up and had to head home, however could not be happier with our experience!
Ben was so great to work with! The silo is gorgeous and designed thoughtfully.
The place is put together very well. Everything flows through the unit nicely. Would gladly stay here again.
Reasonably priced, clean, charming silo. Great park across the street. Love that owner allows pets. Nice bbq area and hot tub as well. Biggest drawback is neighboring dogs at 3 different residences bark quite a bit. Not during the night but rather early in the morning. I love that owner provided black out eye covers as it does get light in the morning. Thanks for sharing a cute place!
We found the space to be cool and cleverly laid out, with a great vibe. It’s got a full, functional kitchen, the AC works well, the bed was comfortable, coffee pods were provided. The little hot tub was a welcome thing after a long drive, although a couple extra towels for it would be nice (in fairness, there’s a sign saying to call if you need more). It’s in a quiet location with an off-street parking area (important to us, as we were travelling with an antique car). I called/texted the owner with a couple questions and special requests, and he was both responsive and accommodating.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The unit was adorable, and super close to getting out to Yakima.
Absolutely loved staying here. The tiny house is so beautiful, was clearly put together with love, and was such a perfect home base for me and my friend during our trip to see a concert at the Gorge. Additionally, the host responded quickly to any questions we had before and during our stay. Very much recommend to anyone else passing through the area!
Brand sparkling new and a unique experience made this stay memorable. Super duper clean and the decor was aesthetically pleasing creating a very zen space. To top it off the hot tub amenity was appreciated. To note, in the ad it states that it accommodates 3 people and that is not accurate. There’s a queen bed and a curved couch. I would say that it holds 2 max. Also, if you like sleeping in, this isn’t the place for you. There’s a circular skylight directly above the bed and the entire space lights up without any option to subdue the blinding morning light. So, 5:30am wake-up was reluctantly accepted. To end on a positive note, the location is awesome with it being walking distance to downtown and near walking trails.
The novelty alone is worth the stay but let me say, this was the nicest place! Spotless, functional, high quality linens and supplies. It’s close to downtown and steps away from a nice park for walking our dog. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. I was slightly concerned that a silo in 85+ weather might not have been the coolest choice: I was wrong, great air conditioning stayed cool all weekend. Will definitely be back.
Ben is a great host. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others.
This silo is amazing!!! The craftmamship is incredible, just WOW!!! Our night here will be at the top of our memories. Super clean, the decor is spot on, and the owners went above and beyond for us. Love, love, love the cow!!! The hottub, BBQ, 2 outside sitting areas, super comfortable bed, washer/dryer, the owners have thought of everything! What an amazing experience!!! Thank you.
Super cute, well maintained - honestly looked like we were the first ones to stay- and unique little place to stay. Tucked away in a neighborhood in West Ellensburg so comes with associated neighborhood things - ie barking dogs - but a perfect place to stay when visiting the University.
This was such a wonderful getaway! Great proximity to walking trails, downtown and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here! The place is just as adorable as the pictures show. Very clean and comfortable.
