Sierra Velo -East Tucson Charmer w Pool & Fire Pit

Nice home in East Tucson. Rented for U of A Graduation activities and was a great home for hosting a small graduation party (approx 20 ppl) with lots of space to move around. Kitchen is very large with a huge peninsula that worked out well for our buffet lunch. The rooms were all very good size and beds were comfortable. My kids said the couches were the most comfy they've ever sat on. The listing said sleeps 8 but wasn't clear on what the 4th sleeping situation was (fold out couch? air bed?) so maybe that could be added to the listing to avoid any confusion (it's an air bed). The host was very responsive when we had any questions or issues and promptly provided a new air bed when the ones in the home were going flat.

The pool was filthy and unusable when we got there which is unacceptable as our sole reason to visit Tucson was to escape the Seattle rain and cold for the week. After contacting the host he sent someone to clean it within 24 hours, though we lost a day hanging out at the pool. In addition, we tried to use the fire pit one night and found a significant bee hive next within the pit. While I can understand this is the dessert, this stuff doesn’t happen overnight, I also spent the first evening sweeping up the brush from the bushes around the pool as it undoubtably would have ended up in the pool and it appeared it had not been swept in awhile. If it was my house snd I was having guests, the backyard would have had a lot more attention! Everything in the house was great and comfortable. It was stocked with items like foil, saran Wrap etc which is always nice. The host offered a small credit.

Beautiful and comfortable home. Quiet neighborhood and close to East Saguaro National park. Enjoyed our stay.

The host was very welcoming and responsive. The house is perfect! The rooms were well appointed, the linens wonderful, the sleep restful. Didn’t use the pool, the time we visited had cool weather, but the temperatures were perfect for hiking.

This property was amazing. We had a rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding and had all of the cooking utensils we needed which was awesome. The backporch was next to the pool that our other kids loved. This property is so awesome and we will definitely use host next time we travel.

The house is clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet. I do wish the pool was heated but I knew that it wasn’t when we rented the house. Definitely recommend. Perfect for a large family or two.

Great home for a large family visiting to celebrate graduation. Plenty of space for entertaining, the indoor/outdoor space was wonderful. The home was clean, well stocked, and responsive host.

Great house to use as a base for a week in Tucson. Close to the hiking trails. Easy to get to the University and other parts of Tucson. The house is well maintained and an easy environment for a visit.

House is nice and is pet friendly. Property management responded promptly to a couple minor issues.

Great house and nice backyard. A little further from campus than we had hoped but overall a great place!!
