Was a really good spot at the top of the mountain. Very quiet and plenty of parking.

This place needs updates I had to report many problems and damages that it had when we first arrived.Refrigerator had a broken shelf there was a water dispenser holding itThe place has dents and holes by the kitchen area This place is not a 3bd the upstairs loft seems to be the 3th room Neighbor are not nice they will bang on your door if they hear noise. He insulted us and scare my family.

The house was located in a wonderful spot, with plenty of room to relax in. The hot tub and pool was a nice way to relax in the early evening as pool closed at 7 pm.We would definitely stay here again.

Carnelian Woods is the perfect place to stay! Lake view, pristine water, peaceful, quiet, the lodge with pool tables, ping pong, air hockey, spa, huge pool, sauna, showers, kitchen, bbq, tennis, pickleball courts and close to Tahoe City with its bike routes and Lazy Truckee River rafting! What else could you ask for? This place offers everything!

The Lakeview was awesome. The unit needs some updating. TV was 32 inches ridiculously small. The dishwasher racks were missing parts so rack almost fell out every time. Refrigerator/freezer iced up. Carpets were dirty. Bathroom door upstairs did not lock. Bar stool broken. Drywall by the barstool had a whole in it. Recliner didn't work. Hole where lever would have been. Also a had a hole in the drywall next to the broken barstool King size bed in the master would have been nice.On the positive side when we had a problem with the toilets the repairs was quick.We have stayed at carnelian woods many times over the last 49 years.I would definitely stay at carnelian woods again but not this unit.

We knew when we rented this condo that it was outdated, however it was actually outdated plus not kept up. The beds and pillows were old and lumpy, several pieces of furniture were broken, there were holes in the walls and in the screen door, stains on the carpet and I could go on.The location, view and clubhouse were amazing, however it was not a restful stay. We spent time fixing toilets and furniture and not sleeping at night.If you like this location I would recommend renting a different unit.

Overall, a great place! It is outdated & needs to be remodeled- especially the bathrooms. The beds were uncomfortable & one of the queen beds had a big dip in the middle.

What an amazing time at this property. We got cozy after a long day on the mountain!

Pros and Cons:Pros: They had everything we needed, the grill works great! Cons: The condo is a bit dated, it was hot they needed more fans available for guest, the couch since it's a sleeper was not comfortable to sit in. Overall is was good...(not great but good).
