Shorebird Cottage. Your charming beach escape, minutes walk to the beach!

We like five things very much about this property!1. The location. Very close to the beach, no major road to cross to get there. 5 min walk. Also, the city of St. Augustine has much to offer in terms of sights, history and places to eat. After coming in from the beach, we went there every night.2. Very clean premises. My wife is obsessed with cleaning, and this place leaves nothing to be desired. Everything needed to clean up a minor spill of, for example, water, coffee grounds, etc. is there and accessible. Even a vacuum cleaner.3. The place is stocked with all of the basic supplies you need. Sugar, coffee pods, spices, paper towels, tissues. Besides the requisite towels for everyone, there were also beach towels. The bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, body wash and lotion, just like at a hotel.4. It has a garage we were able to drive into, which kept the car from heating up during the day.5. Communication with the host is near-immediate, very direct and personable. It is obvious that he is someone who cares about the place and his guest’s well-being and comfortable stay.

This property is amazing. Seriously. I will always want to come back here when I come down to stay with my family here in Flagler Beach.Greg is amazing to communicate with. Always prompt. Attentive to needs.There is everything you can use for the beach here, and there’s everything to use for multiple people staying. The open floor plan is great for family gatherings.And the garage is packed with games to play such as foosball and pool and Jenga. We all had a great time hanging out in that finished part of the garage, which also included a bathroom, lighting, and ceiling fans.

This home is absolutely beautiful! Comfortable furniture inside and out. The home has everything you would ever need. We are definitely coming back.

This property is beautiful! When we entered, we were surprised how much larger than the photos suggested it was. Usually it’s the other way around. Everything was super-clean. The furnishings are all high-quality. There is a lot of evidence of the attention to detail that the owners put into this property. It was hard to leave and head back home! The proximity to a naturally exclusive ocean beach was perfect. The walk there takes less than 5 min. A lot of supplies are provided, and abundantly, too. There is practically no need to head out for things like dish washer or washing machine detergent. Even salt, pepper, sugar and many spices are provided. A foodie practically has all the needed tools for cooking a gourmet meal. There are plenty of dishes making only one dish washer run a day necessary. This is true luxury, which does not rely on extravagance, but shows the owners’ lavish thoughtfulness in making their guests’ stay as worry-free as possible.

This house is new and beautiful...finishes are gorgeous, it was decorated very tastefully, stocked with spices/coffees and everything that you need to get you started. Communication with Greg was great and he has taken great care in putting together a beautiful vacation experience. I'd highly recommend.

This home was beautiful inside and out and only minutes for a walk to the beach. We could hear the beach at night which I loved. The pictures really don’t even capture how big and spacious the home is and it had everything we needed and then some. Greg was a great host and communicator. Also, location was perfect for us. Will definitely go back. Thank you!
