The Neighborhood:

This home is located in the luxurious Shock Hill subdivision of Breckenridge. This is arguably the most desirable, high-end neighborhood in all of Breckenridge, situated perfectly between downtown and the base of the ski area.

The highlight of Shock Hill is the private gondola stop, which provides effortless transport to downtown Breck, Peak 7, and Peak 8. During the summer, the area transforms into a hub for hiking and mountain biking, with scenic trails just moments from your door.



Getting Around:

While a car is recommended for exploring the wider region, getting around is made effortless by nearby public transit options. The home is steps away from the gondola which can take you to Peak 7, Peak 8, or downtown. There is also a free bus shuttle in town that will take you anywhere you wish to go. Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are also prevalent throughout Breckenridge for added convenience.



Other Things to Note:

Please note that like most homes in Breckenridge, we do not have A/C.



Please note that the hot tub is serviced between guests. Sometimes the tub is chemically treated but other times it’s drained and refilled in addition to being chemically treated. Because of this, the tub may be cold on your arrival and may not be hot on the first night of your stay.



Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.

4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.

    Everything about this Shock Hill mansion screamed cozy! We loved every bit of it. The access to the gondola was a plus! I definitely recommend and would stay again!

    Good location. Ammenities were just ok. It's a huge nice house but didn't feel adequately clean. We had a dysfunctional hot tub and many issues with the hot water. I would likely not stay here again. I'm waiting to address our mant concerns with the property management company.

    Great location, nice floorplan, lighting was poor, no stainless cookware, dishwasher was malfunctioning....they sent out a tech and he couldn't figure it out...never did work. VRBO staff was very responsive. Best part is the convenience as the Gondola access is excellent.

    The stay was excellent, the house was top notch and the location was fantastic. The only thig I think we could ask for would be a different mattress' in two of the rooms and the remote window shades were a bit finicky. We loved our stay there and the host was very responsive. I would definitely stay again, just a few things that need to be attended to.The skiing was fabulous as we had 20 of snow during our stay. The Gondola was steps away and took us to Peak 7 and Peak 8.
