Shoal Cottage - beach escape

A beautiful lakeside home only a short walk to all the beauty that Shoalhaven Heads has to offer. We enjoyed our stay in the lovely Shoal cottage - a wonderful big backyard with sand pit and slippery dip for the little ones to play and run around in, and a fire pit to sit around and toast marshmallows at night. We look forward to staying again :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shoal Cottage with our fur baby. The location was brilliant, it felt like home as soon as we walked in. We loved the big backyard, the fenced front yard, the cottage was very clean inside and out, the bed was comfortable and the cottage had everything you need. Thankyou.

Very comfortable cottage with lovely beach vibe. Everything is in good working order and the hosts have thoughtfully provided little extras you could want. Very clean and fresh feel inside. Great secure big back yard for a pet friendly stay. A very convenient base to enjoy the river and beachside walks in this lovely area.

My family and I, including our dog, had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at Shoal Cottage. The house was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Heaters in every room kept us warm and cosy and the fire pit was also a great addition. The dog was VERY impressed with the off-leash beach, especially as it was so close to the house! We’ll definitely come back again.

Our stay at Shoal Cottage was nothing short of delightful. The cottage exudes warmth and comfort, equipped with all the essentials for a relaxing getaway. The backyard was a highlight; our two dogs had ample space to run and play safely, thanks to the fully fenced yard. It's genuinely pet-friendly, aligning perfectly with its description—a rarity in our past experiences. The single-level layout and proximity to the beach added to the convenience, making it an ideal retreat for both humans and their furry companions.
