The property was very spacious and cozy. From the hot tub, kayak, boardgames, and game room there was plenty of activities to keep friends and family busy. The check in and check out instructions were easy to follow. I would definitely consider booking this house for anyone who wants a pleasant stay in the Naples area.

This is a beautiful and very special property. The accomodations were perfect for our family reunion. We especially appreciated cooking together in the thoughtfully designed and well stocked kitchen.

Overall property was ok, no AC and air were very muggy, even opening windows did not help. You need to install AC for comfortable stay.

The house was beautiful and in a great location. The kitchen was well appointed and everything was labeled makingnit easy to find and put away. The beds were comfortable. There wa plenty of seating for meals. The stairs to the lake are well-maintained an has benches at every landing should you need to rest. The boats, paddles, and PFDs were in good condition. Overall it was a great stay.

The house was very spacious and the large windows in the family room looking out over the trees were beautiful! There are enough bedrooms for 6 people but the family room area definitely does not accommodate 6 people. The game room is good but we really looking forward to the lazy boy chairs as seen in the pictures and instead there was an extremely uncomfortable couch. Everything was good but the furniture felt a bit tired and some of the beds creaked when you moved. The kitchen was great and it was well stocked. There are lots of fans and lights and SO many switches for both - they should be labeled. We absolutely loved and got a lot of use out of the ping pong table! We had a great time and recommend this property!

Place was amazing and absolutely beautiful. It was in a great location. It had everything that you possibly needed. Definitely could have stayed here a lot longer than we did.

The house was amazing. Perfect amount of things to do and places to just relax. Sebago is a beautiful lake for swimming, boating, or just relaxing.

We really loved our stay at Shimmering Cove. The house was plenty big for two families and the bonus game room provided an additional indoor space that helped spread things out. There are indeed many (100+) stairs down to the water, but we all just treated it as our exercise for the week. The cove is perfect for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing etc. The private dock at the house is large enough for many people to hang out on. Everything in the house worked perfectly. We were a little concerned about the lack of a/c but we had a cooler week in August and it was fine. The hot tub got a lot of use too!

This is a well-stocked, well-located, lovely home on Sebago Lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners clearly take pride in their home - the kitchen has everything you could want, the beds are comfortable, and the layout makes communal living easy. We kayaked, spent time on the dock, enjoyed the hot tub and played ping pong. The one thing I would note, which I don't recall from the description, is that there are over 100 stairs down to the dock; it was totally fine for most of us, but not for my 86 year old father.

We stayed with 3 families (6 adults and 6 kids ages 12-15). The house was secluded and private, which was very nice. The layout of the house worked well for our group. The game room area was a hit with the kids. The steps are no joke, but we got used to them and treated it as our workout. The dock worked well for our 17’ fishing boat, and we were also able to dock a 24’ boat we rented for a few days. There is a boat channel directly in front of the dock about 20’ and a no wake zone. It gave the kids plenty of place to swim without fear of a boat coming too close. Their favorite part was swimming/paddle boarding over to a rock to jump off of. That kept them busy for hours. This area of the lake (known by the locals as Muddy River) does have a lot of milfoil in the lake. Directly by the house it is fine, however it’s not as clear as Sebago. It’s perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding but my daughter, who likes open water swims wasn’t really into swimming in the large amount of milfoil (like a weed) further away from the house and up the cove. One negative was that while we had great weather, it was in the 80s a few days. The house does not have air conditioning and made it very warm and stuffy throughout the house, despite having lots of fans in almost every room. It got quite warm to sleep. The downstairs, which is where 3 bedrooms are located, does have a major humidity issue that I believe should be addressed to avoid bigger issues.

The lake house was beautiful and everything flowed very nicely! This house is a wonderful space to gather with friends and family! There are a few steps getting to the lake so if people have mobility issues I can see it being a problem, but it didn’t bother us during the stay! We would book this place again!
