Sherry's Hood Canal House

Beautiful waterfront views with a private oyster beach. Also, John is a great host!

Great place to stay! House is very large with an excellent deck to sit and view the canal. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you should need. The beds are comfy, cozy and warm. Extra blankets abound. The towels are plentiful and plush! Host John is knowledgable about the surrounding area, (where to eat, things to do, tides, etc..) and very kind, friendly and easy to talk with. We loved our stay and look forward to returning sometime soon! For families, small groups and gatherings Sherry's on Hood Canal is a perfect spot to get away!

Great stay! Amazing location and comfortable home. The kitchen is really well stocked with everything you need. The host is really nice and attentive. My family and I would stay again.

Cleaning needs improvement. Location and beach were amazing. Owner was very friendly and was very helpful replacing the propane tank. Great getaway!!

The house was perfect for a relaxing weekend. We spent most of our visit just hanging out in the property, eating, grilling, and sitting on the very nice deck. John lives next door, is very friendly, and has some good recommendations for the area as well. We had our dog and it was a great spot for her - if you close the gate the yard and deck are all enclosed so you can let the pup roam.

A great property with a super nice and helpful host. It was just perfect to relax and take a break from the world. We were very comfortable and loved falling asleep listening to the sound of the water so close below. The covered deck is so great for taking in the view and just relaxing. And a bonus for us, we got to see a huge thunder and lightning storm our last night! Thank you John for making our stay a wonderful one!

You can't beat the view from this deck. I've stayed a few places on the canal and I really loved this place so much. Grocery store and the best Mexican restaurant are 1 min drive up the road. We saw orcas, seals, star fish. We swam and took out the kayaks and had the best time. There are two bedrooms on the first floor each with private connection to a full bath. Both full baths are also accessible from the main part of the house. There are two beds upstairs that are connected by a corridor. There are also two cots up there. It's a well loved property so it's not shiny and new but it's super special. The kitchen, living room, deck and side yard are all perfect for your group to spend a great time together staring at Mt Rainer.

We stayed here with our kids and grandkids for the shrimping opener. The place is great! Our dog also loved it - :) The kids can beachcomb and the kitchen is HUGE with enough seating for all. John is a great host. This is just a few minutes from Hoodsport with a grocery store. About 30min to Pleasant Harbor where we had the boat.

Great house with all the comforts of home. Sleeping arrangements for our entire group of 8. Fenced yard for pet safety. Owner was great. So friendly and even came over to take a family photo of our group for us. Highly recommend.
