Sheridan Wildflower! Downtown Family Fun w/Firepit

My friends and I had an amazing time staying at this property! The location was great, the house was clean and very comfortable and had plenty of space. The decor also made it super great for photos!

This property was in a perfect location for us as we were participating in the Firefighter's Memorial which was directly across the street and a short drive to all the other festivities in the down town area.

Property wasn’t well maintained. Steps to front door are crooked and broken and hand rail was shaky. This was a concern because I had my 80-year-old parents with us. Shrubs and grass were overgrown making it hard to enjoy the backyard. One bedroom smelled very skunky. Kitchen could use a deep cleaning. I did report most of these issues to the contact I had (not sure if it was an owner or a service) they said they would send housekeeping over, but they never showed up. Maintenance crew finally came on the last day of our 4 day stay to trim shrubs and grass. All upholstery is tired and could use replacing.

The property was nice and the location convenient. We especially enjoyed the large park with swimming beach a very short distance away. The reason for the overall review of only 3 stars is that check-in went very badly. The door had a lock with keypad that required entering a code in order to open. Shortly before check-in we received a text indicating that the code we had been given might not work, and providing an alternate code. But when we tried to enter, neither code worked. Worse, there was no phone number given to contact anyone. I replied numerous times to the text indicating the problem, in increasingly strong terms, but no one answered that way. I tried communicating through the Vrbo app on my phone but this did not work either. Finally, I set up my phone as a wi-fi hotspot, and used my laptop to log into Vrbo. I finally managed to send another message that way. In the meantime my wife was sitting on the front steps frantically trying to arrange last-minute lodging for ourselves and some other family members who had almost arrived. All told we were locked out for about 40 minutes before I heard back from the management company (Renjoy) through the laptop web page, and they provided a third door code that finally worked. It was a stressful start to a trip that ultimately worked out OK, but just barely. I will do everything I can to steer clear of properties managed by Renjoy in the future.

Backyard wonderful, kitchen well stocked had a lovely time. Quiet at night, little to no street traffic. Overall, would definitely stay here again. Short walk to a large green space/park.

Advertised as 3 bedroom, but one of the bedrooms shares a wall with another unit and that full-time occupant was so loud, one of our guests had no sleep for 3 nights - our entire trip. If you only need 2 bedrooms, the place is perfectly adequate. BTW - they offered a 60 refund, but seriously? 60? I'm fine - you can keep it. Check-in process: the codes had to be changed multiple times because they would not work. Pictures falling off the wall, sticky floor in game room.

I am so confused by the good reviews concerning this property. We had a horrible experience! This vrbo vacation rental was the absolute dirtiest vacation home we've ever stayed in in the past 2 decades. I will include pics of the filth. Also, they have a motion detection camera on a post that overlooks the firepit area, which was not disclosed as of this date 5/26/2025. You have no idea who is video recording you, or recording your audio conversation!!The floors were absolutely filthy! My white socks were gross after an evening walking in this home. Pics to follow. The water sprinklers came on TWICE a day, morning and evening, EVERYDAY!! We could not enjoy sitting in the outdoors on our 4 day stay, which is why you come to Colorado, for the views!!! I contacted host TWICE and they did nothing to correct this sprinkler issue. Another huge concern is they require you to start the dishwasher when leaving. There were NO cleaning products anywhere in this house! No dish detergent, no detergent for sheets, towels etc. GROSS!! The sheets had zero smell, so it makes you think that the dishes, towels and sheets are only washed in hot water. We have stayed in dozens of vrbo vacation rentals over the past 20 years and this place was the absolute worst.Stay elsewhere where there are much cleaner homes, much better amenities. This was the bottom of the barrel for us.

Our stay was great! It was very easy to check in. The listing was exactly as stated and very comfortable and clean.I liked that the bedrooms had fans a nice unexpected surprise. Also the fully stocked bathrooms and extra pillows and blankets were a nice touch. Great property that I would definitely recommend to families or groups of friends.

We were there to support family in hospital. It was an easy 10 minute drive.It was cozy with a beautiful interesting interior.We would stay again if we don't have an aged parent with us, the logistics are

We needed to make a trip to Colorado Springs with our 2 dogs to visit family. Traveling with dogs is not easy, but thankfully we found this great house to stay at that allowed pets. The house was clean, well appointed and decorated nicely. There is a large park very close by that was perfect for walking our dogs. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Our stay here was a great experience and we’d definitely book this house again.

My wife and mother-in-law were in love with the flowery decor and the home location is very close to downtown Colorado Springs where all the shops, museums, and restaurants are located. The view of the mountains were spectacular. The hosts also had some complimentary drinks, snacks, and even a bag of dog food ready for us when we arrived. They made our stay comfortable and we felt welcomed.

We had a great stay. Any small issues were handled promptly by the managenent. Outdoor chairs were broken but otherwise everything worked. We did have the microwave stop and management had it fixed right away!

This property is the prettiest house on the street and it is steps away from a beautiful park. Great option if you’re traveling with a pet.

I ended up coming by myself. My wife couldn’t make it. The property has recently been updated. The house and yard are very nice. The bed in the main bedroom has a great mattress. The kitchen is great. The location is a half block from memorial park. Close to downtown. I made an offer on a house and that was the purpose of my visit. I didn’t do much else. I sat in the well maintained back yard and enjoyed the view of Pikes peak. Highly recommended

Very nice charming place and great central location! Only 10 minutes to Manitou Springs and the Garden of the Gods. The Old time amusement venues in downtown Manitou Springs are a classic blast! We really liked the property; nicely updated, very clean and spacious. Foosball table is fun to play! A few upgrades would be nice-the couches aren't very comfortable and the TV is old (picture quality is average at best). Would highly recommend this home!

Comfortable home with many nice touches unexpected in a VRBO. The stairs to the entrance of the home are very high and uneven. They were very hard to navigate for one of our older guests and the hand railing is loose, both are potentially dangerous for older guests or small children.
