Shell Box III: Dog Friendly, 1 Block from Beach

Great location and relaxing

The house was very nice, very clean, very neat. The parking is not good at all. All the bushes are overgrown. It's tough backing out onto the busy highway. The Bushes behind the house, between the deck and the beach, are very overgrown, They're probably fifteen feet tall, which kind of obstructed the beach view a good bit. The water pressure was terrible. It was tough to even get the shampoo rinsed out of your hair in the shower. The beds, were also terrible.They could not have been more uncomfortable. They are very old and worn. The house and the location are very nice. It just needs some maintenance.

Our adult family of eight truly loved our stay here. The views were fantastic and the location to the beach can’t be beat. You can also walk to the park, coffee, shops, and restaurants. When we had a minor issue with a leak from the outside shower, even though it was not an emergency, a maintenance member arrived 15 minutes after we contacted the company. It was a wonderful and relaxing vacation home.

The house is nice with a great location

This was the perfect house for our family vacation. When we arrived we noticed a couple of issues, and when I messaged the management company, they responded quickly and had someone out the same day to take care of them. Definitely would rent this house again!

Roaches in bedrooms , roach in the bed. They refunded 200 and said they would send someone to spray that never happened. Then said they would refund another 100 for the trouble that never happened.

The house is a 10 minute easy walk to the beach - exit the house turn right and walk straight. Store all of your beach stuff under the house. Plenty of parking - 4 cars easily fit under the house. There is also an area with hanging lights and an area to sit. Outside shower is a game changer!!Inside has three roomy bedrooms. Three decks!!! There is a small room with a TV but no AC not really usable. There is a loft upstairs and a bed with an AC unit in the window. We easily slept 8. Washer dryer were really new and fabulous. My only recommendations are: to organize the kitchen better. It’s very well stocked but lacks organizing. Consider new paper on the kitchen shelves. Finally the shelves on the fridge door were missing which is challenging to not have. Would stay there again!!

The view is fantastic from the living area of this house. Very close walk down to the ocean. Fantastic shelling!

The house was on a fabulous location but was extremely run down. Furniture in living room is tired, deck has rusty nails sticking up, outdoor furniture is very worn.

It's a nice house, open and roomy.

We had a great stay at S.H.E. Shell! The best part was how close we were to the beach. We even let our young kids play on the beach while we sat on the porch. You'll want to make sure you bring your own beach toys and inside activities for a rainy day, but other than that the house had everything we needed. Holden Beach is great and this house is in a prime location.

We enjoyed our stay here. Many upgrades were done, overall great stay!

The Shell Box III met all our needs - great space for all of us and our two dogs. Loved the multiple decks and how close it was to the beach. Well-stocked with all the beach accessories we could need.
