This is a listing for a homestay. You will be sharing the house with the owners and their children. Renters have their own private 2 bedroom 1 bathroom structure which overlooks the infinity pool and the ocean. The kitchen, garden, barbecue and swimming pool are shared with the owner and their 2 children. We do not allow parties, late night music or loud drunken behavior.

This custom home is perched alongthe ridgeline in the Bella Vista neighborhood of Rancho Santana. Dramatic views of both the ocean and the mountains are visible from nearly every room. Incredible sunsets over the water are seen each night from the expansive outdoor living area that overlooks the Pacific ocean and the sparkling infinity pool.

With three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, the home consists of two separate structures. The open concept main house features a flowing layout which brings the fully appointed kitchen, comfortable dining room, and airy living room all together. A detached guest house contains two bedrooms and a full bathroom.

NOTE: It is important that the correct number of people for the reservation is entered when completing your booking. Like many rentals we charge an additonal fee for more than 2 guests. If the reservation is for 2 people then only one bedroom will be prepared. If it is for 3 or more people then the additional guest room will be prepared. If you made the booking for only 2 people but you have more than that be sure to let us know ahead of time so we will be sure to prepare the additional bedrooms.

A spacious and welcoming patio, beautiful landcaping and an impressive infinity pool tie the two structures together.

As part of the Rancho Santana development, guests have access to some amenities, including two on-site restaurants, spa services, hiking trails, and five stunning beaches with unforgettable sunsets.

Rancho Santana is Nicaragua's premiere oceanfront development and the only one with five beaches along the property. It is a gated, residential community that enjoys 2,700 acres of rolling hillsides, dramatic cliff sides, five breathtaking beaches and endless mountain and ocean views. The development offers more amenities than any other along the Nicaragua coastline and boasts an abundant amount of natural reserve where you'll find numerous exotic birds, monkeys, and other animals. Several nature trails offer excellent hiking and horseback riding, while the various beaches offer excellent surfing, snorkeling and relaxation and two oceanfront clubhouses provide pools, food, and beverages. A Taqueria located at Los Perros beach is a must to visit for their amazing Tacos.

Within only a 7-minute drive from our home are the main Clubhouse, Restaurant La Finca y El Mar, Spa and the main pool. As you are driving there you will find the Stables, and not too far from it Rosada Clubhouse and the restaurant within, La Boquita. Nearby is also La Tienda, where you can find fresh vegetables and a variety of groceries. La Taqueria at Los Perros is only a 10-minute drive. Head out there for delicious tacos, a fantastic setup and a long walk on the beach or even a hike.

This home is located two and half hours from the Managua airport and just a few kilometers from the Costa Esmerelda airport.

    We enjoyed our stay at Casey’s property. Enjoyed his hospitality and the great views from his place. The only thing is it was tricky to find his place upon arrival. Casey did pick us up from a location within the larger property. It would have helped having a map or a WhatsApp location of the property beforehand. We would stay again at his property.

    My reservation was for four. And, I thought it was going to be as described with two queen beds, in one room, a shared full bath with another room with a 1 queen bed. But upon arrival we had a standard bed only was nothing like the pictures depicted. However, we made it work by living the other two guest at another location. We only slept there. Casey, the owner was very polite and not very. A lovely family.

    Casey and his family are really nice and we had great communication. They gave me their coffee maker and offered use of the pool ! The hosts were very helpful with all of my needs and went above and beyond. No frills, but his was perfect for my solo trip to Santana.

    My sister and mother accompanied me to this lovely home stay. It was wonderful to stay with locals among the beautiful Rancho Santana complex. Please do not drive the google way to shorten the drive. Make sure to go through Rivas, it will take longer but much safer. Rene and Cassie were so helpful and receptive to our questions and requests. The views are breathtaking day and night! I will be staying there often.

    This is my second trip to Hacienda Vista Del Mar. I was able to extend our stay by a day, but it still was not long enough. It is family friendly environment, yet a cozy getaway for my wife and I. I love the outdoor kitchen for barbecuing at night while watching the sunset. My wife swam with the kids in the pool while I grilled and drank a cold Toña. Looking forward to going back in July or August with the guys to fish and surf. They have a housekeeper that will cook us breakfast and lunch provided we bring the food.

    My husband and I recently spent 5 days at Hacienda Vista Del Mar with my two daughters. It was very quiet at the ranch and we always felt so safe. It was a lovely week and a great way to enjoy the Pacific Coast.
