Shady Pines Retreat - Next to Crater of Diamonds State Park. Private 7 acre pond

Very quiet and peaceful.

Perfect!! Close to town and the Crater of Diamonds State Park. It was everything we needed! They even had supplies we could use (buckets and screens) if needed. Our kids loved the lake and we even went out on the boat. Thank you for a great and easy experience!

Great place, the private pond seems way bigger than it’s listed, we spent so much time out there casting lines with our kids and trolling around on the little boat. My 7yr old daughter caught her first bass and was absolutely hooked. We booked it because it was so close to the diamond park but honestly the stay with the pond was our best memory of the trip!

We stayed to do Hot Springs and Crater of Diamonds. I wish we had stayed longer so we could have taken advantage of the fishing. The property is very peaceful and the hosts were very responsive. If we are back in the area we would love to stay again.

Shady Pines was close to Crater Diamonds State Park. the home was big and clean. It was the perfect size for our family. It had everything you need in kitchen to cook meals. Loved all the positive wall hangings, fireplace and the home is beautiful inside and out!!!!

Loved Loved!! The house was very cozy and beautifully decorated. Outside was very serine, loved the location. Had neighbors but very quiet, tall beautiful trees. Loved, loved the pond with the boat. The location is perfect, just down the road from the Crater of the Diamond State Park. Not to far from town to do some shopping, dinning. Will %100 be back. Thank you again.

Absolutely lovely stay

The pond was awesome and being so close the diamond mine was a huge plus. The host are awesome. Everything about this place was great. I highly recommend.

This house is perfect for large families. It was stocked with plenty of pots/pans, towels, blankets, etc. The lake is beautiful! It was so quiet and peaceful. Most afternoons, we spent time on the porch enjoying the sounds of nature. We didn't find any diamonds, but there's always next time!

We took the boat out on the private lake to fish caught so many fish and released them. The property is just beautiful and peaceful. i great getaway for sure!!

It was great. Better then we hoped for. The pictures don't do it justice. It was very clean, the beds were so comfortable and it was beautifully furnished.

We really enjoyed our stay at Shady Pines Retreat. Very relaxing and incredibly quiet. The residence was clean and comfortable. The pond was well stocked if you like to fish. Very close to Crater diamond state park. Scott and Tammy are awesome hosts.

This house was such a perfect place for our family to stay and explore Murfreesboro and dig for diamonds. Our kids loved exploring around the pond. It is so beautiful that words don't do it justice! We took advantage of the digging tools provided for Crater of Diamonds State Park, and although we didn't strike it rich, we did have a huge amount of fun. The kitchen had everything we needed to fry up the fish we caught at Lake Greeson, and we definitely kept the washer and dryer going after our adventures at the mine. We would absolutely stay here again.

Our family got together for a weekend and this was a perfect place! The house was great and the pond our kids loved!

Shady Pines will offer you a clean, quiet, and relaxing home to stay when you are in need of a place to rest up. We stayed for three nights while we were in town to dig for diamonds. We were four adults and Shady Pines provided us all with plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time together. Having the washer and dryer was a big plus so we could wash our clothes after a day of digging. The value for what Shady Pines offers is great! I recommend Shady Pines for the reasons noted above, plus the host was always available when needed.

We enjoyed our stay here while in town to visit the Crater of Diamonds state park. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful yard. The kids loved the basketball hoop and the pond.

Loved the stay here we rented this house to go back and forth to the diamond park the owners went the extra mile when are gps sent us the wrong way and helped us to get to the house with directions the house was super clean and super comfortable made you feel like u were at home thry also had some mining equipment for the diomand park was so helpful loved it would book again .

We had a great time mining for Gemstones. We like the property and being able to hike and fish in the large pond.

We enjoyed the space and how close it was to the State Park. Our kids had room to roam and try to catch some fish in the pond. No luck though. Great place to stay for a larger group or a family who wants space and privacy.

Close enough to the COD to be convenient, far enough away to be quiet. The pond was beautiful and fun to fish. Plenty of little things make this place special. Condiments abound, they have a good selection of hand tools to borrow for use at the crater. We'd stay here again for sure!

Great location, comfortable house.

Very clean. Had more than enough room for our family of 4. We enjoyed fishing and the pond was so serene. Would definitely stay here again.
