Great location, house has many amenities to utilize. Unfortunately no direct beach access as stairs are under repair.

Our host, Alycia, was very welcoming and our retreat was very comfortable for our weekend get-a-way.

This was a special place for our group of six friends to spend a long weekend - cozy, unique, and kind of magical. We cooked, we hiked, we simply sat outside taking in the sound, and enjoyed wonderful food at Zamorana, Ramble, and Snapdragon. We wished we could have stayed longer. Alycia was a kind and responsive host.One tip for travelers – if you are renting a car, make sure it has four-wheel-drive (I’m still shocked they even rent minivans without it)! The last stretch of road leading to the house is steep and narrow, and the frequent rain adds mud and wet leaves to the mix.

The host was helpful and responsive. The house was charming and you can’t beat the view. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you !

We are a group of 80 year old long time friends. We have been spending several days together each October for the past 20 some years. Shabby Chic was the perfect house! We each had our own room and common area was perfect. Kitchen accommodated multiple cooks. We plan on a return trip next year!Vashon is truly beautiful.

5 star through and through! Our group loved this vashon gem - a perfect spot for soaking up the Seattle summer sun. It’s as pictured/advertised, super well stocked and has great amenities. The host is communicative, responsive and was accommodating to a few of our small requests.

Lovely location right on Quartermaster Harbor. Well appointed with everything you needed for cooking and feeding a group. Beds were super comfortable. Lots of towels and beach towels.We had a wonderful time-sat in the Adirondack chairs, read books, watched the seals and just enjoyed ourselves.

The property is beautiful and was well appointed with everything we needed. We relaxed over coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening while watching eagles, osprey and harbor seals. Easy access to both Tacoma and Seattle by ferry. A perfectly relaxing stay.

This was a great place for our work retreat. The views, being right on the water, and the number of bedrooms was perfect!

Beautiful house with peaceful views of Quartermaster Harbor. It was great place for our family to gather with plenty of room to relax in the living room and outside. Well stocked and a convenient fridge outside for beverages. Highly recommend!

We booked this lovely cottage for our family to celebrate the life of a family member. There were plenty of beds/rooms for everyone to have a comfortable place to sleep. The gathering places were cozy and gave us time to play games, watch movies and be together. The location was perfect and the view was wonderful. We are definitely planning to return in the summer to enjoy another family get together.

Super charming house on the water. We woke up to the sun, birds and sea otters every morning. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment, and lots of space outdoors. frelaxing and visiting with family.

We spent two fantastic days enjoying a small family birthday celebration. Our stay was excellent, with the surrounding location and inlet views a welcome reprieve from our daily lives.

This place has great views and comfortable beds. We had lots of space to spread out . The kitchen was well equiped.

Our family experienced loss that shook us to our cores and lead us to want something different for Thanksgiving. This was just what we needed. We cooked every meal, laughed around huge dining table, played board games until late at night, stared in silent awe at the amazing view. It was perfect

We used the property for a girls weekend. It was well appointed and relaxing. We loved the views and the quiet. Definitely as described. Would stay there again.

The Shabby Chic Waterfront on Vashon Island was the perfect setting for reconnecting with friends. The location is incredible and the house is darling. We spent hours sitting on the Adirondack chairs in the front yard, chatting and enjoying the views.

This was our second girls trip to shabby chic. We had a great time. Perfect view, lots of room to spread out, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and wonderful communication with hosts. Looking forward to next years trip to shabby chic!

This property was perfect. We had 4 generations staying together for a wedding on Vashon. The space was terrific- the lawn, the toys and games and the firepit made for some terrific memories. THANK YOU!

Incredible location , very relaxing, would like to come back

Shabby chic getaway was perfect for our family to gather, cook, relax and game! Beds were comfortable, house was decorated fun, and kitchen was more than adequately outfitted. One downside was the septic smell outside at times, owners are aware. Some kayaks would be a good bonus!

Unfortunately this was the worst VRBO experience I have ever encountered. What promised to be a lovely four days turned into a problematic vacation. The smell from the septic system was so overwhelming that my guests could only sleep at the house with all the windows closed tightly. The weather was warm and the house is older and not well insulated so sleeping was not easy, even with the small fans provided. Unfortunately even if there had been no smell the windows have no screens and the bugs in the evening on the water presented problems.The owner suggested she had had the septic tank pumped several weeks before so did not understand what the problem could be. I can safely say that when the booking advertises space for 11 people the plumbing cannot possibly keep up with that number as we only had 6 staying. Fortunately we own a home on the island so my family took all showers here after the owner had been notified and suggested limiting water use. I did write a property complaint form to VRBO but received no reply. I would not recommend this property or VRBO to anyone again

We stayed a week and it was such a fun and relaxing place for our family. The house is perfect for a large group. We had such a good time and the hosts have thought of all the things you will need for your stay. The hosts are awesome and super easy to communicate with. We loved it there and will be back for sure!!!!
