Serenity on the Lake 3 Bedroom 2 Bath home on Lake Santeetlah

We enjoyed our stay. Peaceful neighborhood, clean accommodations. The only down side was no soap or shampoo for showers and the owners require taking garbage to an off site location.

The house was nice however the water is to shallow at the dock to swim. There was a big wasp nest on the back deck that made using it impossible, there is a little paddle boat but its sunken which is a shame. Overall its a nice house we did have some issues with the internet but the owner said he is working to resolve it.There is a few cameras on site which i have never seen at a rental home before.

Check in was easy. The host allowed for an early check in (and out!!!) which we were extremely grateful for. The house itself is very spacious which we loved! There were lots of cobwebs and we had an issue with aunts (which the host did offer to help with), but that's to be expected in the moutains. Overall though, the place was clean and ready for us. Big downfall for us was not having wifi. We still had to work while on vacation and had to go into town in order to get wifi. The host did have someone come look at it, but not till our second to last day there. It worked better after that, but still not the best (again though, you're in the moutains). The host was very responsive as well. Very kind and helpful. Definetly would stay again.

We had a wonderful time. The house was clean and comfortable. Having the lake a short walk away was so much fun. Thank you for the hospitality.

House was in a great location and easily accessible. Driveway was manageable for out 2 bike trailer, would be challenging for a larger trailer. Carport was great for keeping the bikes dry.Would definitely stay here again.

Check in was super easy. Communication with the host was excellent. We had a wonderful time. We just wanted a quiet getaway and we booked this house for that reason. We also wanted something on a lake so my son could fish, which he was able to do. There are also campsites and fishing spots up the road on the beautiful lake. The house was clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities. My favorite part was the collection of board games and books, as well as the balcony overlooking the backyard/dock. Overall, it was a great stay and we may come back in the summer!

A big thanks to Bobbi and Barry for this gem. We really enjoyed our time on NC and having their cabin as our base made it even better. Would absolutely recommend this property to friends and family! Deric and Dana Craig and family.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a very nice house. Tke kids enjoyed the kiacks and the lake was beatiful. It is close enough to Gatlinburg to visit ,but far enough away to have peace and quiet.my husband and son loved the curvy roads in the area to drive there motorcycles. There was also plenty of hiking areas to visit as well. Would highly recommended this place.

This house is perfect for our family of five, with three teenagers. There is plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The house has a dock on Lake Santeetlah, and can accommodate small boats, which is the main reason for our vacation. The walk down to the dock through the backyard does have a lot of stairs which was good for us as it kept the in-laws away. The kitchen is well stocked with hardware and the grill was great to have. We were able to cook anything we wanted. The house was clean and comfortable, the owners were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any communication. We’re looking forward to booking this house again.

The house was vey clean and very well furnished- kitchen utensils, etc. Also a great location.
