The rental process could not go smoother every single year and we are so thankful for the folks at recreational rentals.Only a few suggestions - second fridge in basement was removed which for a group it’s very difficult to only have one fridge for a week.

Great place!

This site was as pictured. Our stay was only two nights and we only used one bedroom. Top notch laundry room. Dining room has beautiful lake views. Nice fire ring outside, which was perfect for cool May evenings. Easy to find--Apple Maps took us right to the address. Close to Cable, which has a library, grocery store, and hardware store. We hope to return!

The house had great common areas for us all to hang out when the weather wasn’t perfect and when it was, the decks and the dock were fun.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 4th summer staying at this cabin for our summer vacation. We absolutely love the property and Lake Owen. The location is so easy to get to from town and allows you to easily go into Cable, Hayward, restaurants etc.The house is always very clean and well maintained and there are a ton of amenities available.There are plenty of places to sleep and spread out so if you are traveling with other couples the amount of bathrooms and space is perfect.Our only feedback is 3 bedrooms are queen/king but the other two sleeping areas are twin beds. And one “room” is a loft. We wish it was truly 5 bedrooms (closing off that loft area) and all queen beds. With how massive the basement is you could throw in a couple bunk beds downstairs for kids.

We stayed here in summertime before and wanted to try it out in winter, and had a great time. Thank you for hosting such a great house in a fantastic location

We had a team outing to ride side-by-sides in the area. The property is amazing and the view of lake was beautiful. The host was great and very responsive. I would highly recommend staying here if you have a large group.

We have 5 couples that stay for about 5 nights.The location of the rental and ease to town is also a huge perk of this rental!Cleanliness of the cabin is unmatched - bedding, furniture, living spaces and kitchen are spotless upon arrival. The grounds as well are always incredibly clean.The amount of space you have is unbelievable- with 4 spacious bedrooms and 1 full loft there is more than enough spaces for everyone to sleep ... in addition to a very spacious and open basement. If you are traveling with kids - there would be a ton of space downstairs for them all to sleep.We have family staying at a cabin on the lake and often host a dinner with all of us, roughly 20 people between the two cabins and there is ample places to sit and eat, cook etc.The only suggestions we have is maybe changing the loft into more of a closed bedroom - so this very large house has 5 actual bedrooms. Or at least closing off the open air downstairs look so the individuals sleeping up there aren’t bothered. And switching the twin beds to queen beds instead - maybe using the twins for downstairs extra sleeping.We will continue to come back to the Serenity on Lake Owen every year it’s able to be rented. We love it at this home and love being on lake Owen. Thank you for another wonderful experience!
