Stayed Aug 1, 2025This place is 5-10 minutes south of Mendocino and is in a very quiet wooded place. The house is roomy and comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped and spacious. Everything is clean. The host Janice is very responsive. We will see if it is available the next time we go to the North Coast. Highly recommend.

Stayed Jul 1, 2025Our host, Jan, is extremely considerate, friendly, thoughtful and helpful. She helped me with a birthday event by having fresh cut flowers present upon arrival - exceptional service! That made our stay quite special!The location is perfect for quick access to highway 1, yet quiet and secluded. Five minutes to the heart of Mendocino. We would stay again if returning to the area.

Stayed Jul 28, 2024They area is so lush and lovely. It was very peaceful and quiet. Janice was a terrific hostess, she left coffee, beverages, snacks, fresh fruit!! I’ve stayed in many many VRBO‘s and that was a first!! Greatly appreciated as it somewhat off the beaten path. We were disappointed the hot tub was not working. The WiFi service was not great, we had difficulty communicating with Janice. She does have a landline however. We had a great time and enjoyed some wonderful sites!

Stayed Jul 14, 2024We were thrilled having such an attractive, well-equipped kitchen in a very private, quiet wooded setting. The host was extremely accommodating and helpful. Beautiful views of trees from the double living room with soaring ceilings, an easy-to-use gas fireplace, and comfortable furniture.
