Serenity Cove - Charming, Cozy Keuka Lake Cottage!

Serenity Cove was almost perfect for us. The beds were very comfortable, but high. My sister-in-law slept on the couch, she couldn't get into bed. Only other down side for us was getting into the tub. My fault, i didn't realize it was a tub/shower. A really nice few days away from home.

House is a cute and quirky cottage with low ceilings and unlevel floor. It is extremely clean and has a wonderful view. However there were several things that were disappointing and I am not sure if it is the owners or property managements fault. -empty propane tanks so no hot water, stovetop cooking or central heat the first chilly night (they did have plug in heaters which kept blowing the fuses to the fridge and oven) making it impossible to make dinner and no hot shower that evening.-no hairdryer provided as listed-dead batteries in ROKU remote with no replacement batteries available-the dishwasher was full of dishes when we arrived-no dish soap, detergent, or sponge provided to wash dishes in sink or dishwasher

The view is breath taking . Unfortunately the couches and bed were extremely uncomfortable. All of the beds are very worn and thin. The springs jabbed into my hips and back all night. My mother in law is 70 years old and she didn’t get much sleep in her bed because of the same. The bedroom off the kitchen has a door that leads into the living room. The doorknob to that door falls off and you have to turn and pull tediously in order to open the door otherwise it falls off and your stuck. While vacationing you want to be able to kick your feet up and relax after being in the sun all day on the lake but unfortunately that was not the case. The couches both were extremely uncomfortable and older. When you sat on both of them you were sitting on the frame. The couch beds you pull out under the couches were also very uncomfortable. I want to mention the third queen bed in the sunroom is not comfortable either and there is no AC in that room. It is not insulated. It was too hot for anyone to sleep in that room. There was a heat advisory for two of the seven days we stayed. It got up to 101 and inside that room was ridiculously hot. I don’t think it’s fair to say this is a three bedroom that comfortable sleeps 6 people. The listing says cable / satellite channels are included but there was no cable and no satellite. The TV is not a smart TV so you can’t stream anything or watch anything at all. They had a pest control company come and spray in the middle of our stay!DISSAPOINTED

This property was perfect. Location was great, nestled between Keuka State Park and Sugar Creek, we could walk to a small preserve and to the State Park. Close to wineries, breweries, restaurants, and more. The house literally sits on the water and it's easy for kids to walk in. There is a large side yard as well. The house was clean and roomy for three of us. The welcome package was great - we had a dog and they included dog treats and a ball! Loved everything about this place.

Level lot, shallow waters, nice lawn space for kids. Updated enough, happy with our choice.

My husband, two year old son and I stayed over the holiday weekend. The house interior was even nicer in person than in the photographs. We enjoyed sitting on the dock during the kiddo’s naps, and he had a ball playing on the rocky beach and exploring the sun porch. The shower pressure was awesome, and the washer and dryer were so convenient!

We were so thrilled once we arrived at the house as it exceeded our expectations! The cleanliness was amazing, the kayaks, grill, fire pit and those views on the dock were awesome! Definitely booking again! Think we found our spot for the summers!
