Serenity by the Sea - Six Bedroom, Five Bath House with Private Pool

While the house itself was spacious, nice, and had a great location, we had some issues as soon as we arrived. Upon checking in, there were 2 large piles of dirty linens from previous stay, with no clean linens for us. They quickly dropped it off and we were left to make our own beds, line trash cans, put towels in the bathrooms, etc. Not the cleanest. Issue with bugs and they came and sprayed. There was somebody’s fake eyelashes in one of the bedrooms, stained up comforter in king bedroom, dirty pool, and piled up trash on arrival as well.

Great house! Easy access to beach, great pool area, interior furniture very comfortable. Highly recommend.

No access to a vacuum during the week. Broom provided not satisfactory. Drain in master bath clogged. Had to lift drain cover and remove tons of hair and dirt. Shower would not drain until I did this. Gross. Smoke detector in a main level bedroom hanging from ceiling. My husband screwed it back on. Definitely HVAC did not work to our desired level of cool. We felt it was being controlled off-site. Too many personal family photos for a rental.

Easy beach access right across the street (other than the steep stairs that you have to navigate to get to beach). Enjoyed the pool everyday. Lots of room for a big family with 6 bedrooms. Only minor complaint is i could not find an outside electrical outlet to plug my golf cart charger in, finally found one in the roof of the underside of house. Would definitely have this on our list to come back to.

With the pool and beach so close, everyone was able to enjoy doing what they prefer. I was very impressed with the house and all it had to offer! My one and only negative was the refrigerator is a little small and we were having issues with the freezer the whole time. I would suggest maybe adding an icemaker to the house.

The pool is great for our little ones and the porches make great outdoor spaces for them as well.

The fridge was too small for a house of that size, so daily grocery trips were necessary. There was also a dorm size fridge upstairs that fit a few items. Grocery stores were only a few minutes by car though
