My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay. The house could definitely use some outside maintenance (fresh coat of paint, driveway is in pretty bad shape) but inside it was nicer than expected with plenty of room for two people. Definitely different than the listing pictures. The kitchen area is completely updated. We enjoyed the bar stool seating counter but there is a lack of upper cupboards so all the dishes and glasses are found in drawers alongside the sink. A little funky to get used to but okay. We liked that the one bedroom now has a king sized bed (which was very comfortable for us) however there is no dresser in that room even though it could easily accommodate one. The master bedroom with ensuite bath is nice and has a large dresser that we shared. The washer and dryer worked great as did the air conditioning. There is a small charcoal grill that we used several times (There is also a gas grill on the patio but it is totally unusable). Be aware that the front door deadbolt lock does not easily open/close with the key. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks that made it very easy to walk our dog on a daily basis. It was super easy access to all the shopping/restaurants in Port Charlotte and only a 10 min drive to downtown Punta Gorda where we found some excellent restaurants. Also the house is literally a 2-min drive to the Port Charlotte city beach which we went to almost daily. Communication with the host Joe was very good.

Comfortable bed. Good amenities: kitchen supplies, washer and dryer, microwave, large screen tv, plenty of linens, A/C, and fans. Comfortable place to stay. Thank you.

I enjoyed my time in Florida. My only complaint is the floor was disgusting. We had to wear socks or shoes the entire stay. If you walk around bare feet, your feet will turn black. It's like the floor has never been cleaned. I would find a new cleaning service if I were reading this as the property manager... thanks.

We stayed nine days at this house. The house was clean and comfortable. Two bathrooms that were suitable.Good location - within 10-15 minutes or less of restaurants and shopping. Mostly quiet neighborhood. Short drive from Punta Gorda airport. Small galley kitchen area. One TV. No house guest book listing things to do, places to see, restaurants to try, comments from visitors, etc.Over all, the place was adequate for our needs.

Property was clean and spacious. Ad said two queen beds and one double with one bath. It had two baths a plus, and a king bed. Pictures showed Lani but hurricane removed it.over all it was very comfortable and worth the stay

Overall, the house was clean and cozy. The pictures on the website definitely need to be updated. There is not an enclosure on the back patio. Nor was the grill in working order. We purchased a grill to use while we were there and left it for the next guest. The floor tile had numerous cracks which made it tricky to walk on without cutting our bare feet. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly.

Overall the house was good. Lots od windows so difficult maintaining cool temps. Nice quiet neighborhood.

This place was perfect, comfortable, cozy and in a great location. Close to restaurants and shops and of course the water, a 10 cruise out to the harbor!!!
