Stayed Nov 26, 2025We stayed at this property for a family Thanksgiving weekend. It was a perfect spot and was the perfect size for the 6 of us. Also, very convenient to downtown Rockford and all of the attractions. Wonderful stay and we will be back!

Stayed Oct 27, 2025The management company running this place was not welcoming at all. They were quite rude and I will never rent from that management company again. There is a policy that you can't smoke on the property. You can't even smoke on the porch or in the yard. At one point they told me I couldn't even smoke on the street, which is just silly. And all they do is think of ways to fine you. There was no instructions on anything in the house. Just a list of ways they can fine you. That isn't very welcoming. Also, I contacted them before I went through with renting the house because I was having foot surgery and I needed a house that was easy to get into. I also needed a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. It looked like it was flat to the front door from the pictures. Turns out you can't use that door. You have to go around back and enter from the backyard. The bulb for the garage didn't work so if I came back in the evening, I had to walk to the door to get in before there were any lights. I had to crawl on my stomach while entering the house the first two weeks because I was afraid of falling down. And the halls were very narrow and the bathroom was extremely small. I could not fit in the bathroom with my wheelchair and close the door. All of this made things extremely difficult and what I was trying to avoid by renting this house for month.

Stayed Jul 18, 2025The house was fantastic. MGM Properties was a disaster - literally. The house was easy to stay at, accommodated our group well, in a great location. It was exactly what we wanted. We came home from lunch to a floor full of water. A leak in the main floor bathroom was dripping about 1 gallon ever 3 hours. We contacted the management company and heard nothing back from them for nearly 10 hours. Meanwhile, the water damaged the ceiling in the basement because we couldn't stop the flow. We contacted them through their platform and also through VRBO - with no response. I contacted VRBO help and they also could not get a response.I stayed up most of the night, emptying the pans we used to capture the water, in an attempt to prevent the damage. All of this was met with no response from MGM Properties. When they did finally respond mid day the next day, they said it was only a small leak and not important... To say I would stay away from MGM Properties is an understatement.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025We stayed over the Fourth of July weekend to celebrate my niece’s 29th birthday, and the house was absolutely beautiful. The neighborhood felt very safe, which we appreciated since we had children with us. The home featured several high-end, smart appliances, which made things convenient. However, there were some issues. Towels weren’t placed in the bathrooms or bedrooms—we had to search the basement laundry room to find them. There also seemed to be no pest control done at all, as we encountered beetles, earwigs, and other bugs inside and outside the home. The pool/hot tub was a big reason we booked, but it appeared dirty, with a slippery bottom and no sign of recent maintenance or cleaning products used. We skimmed it ourselves, but it still felt unclean. The lawn hadn’t been mowed, which made it difficult for the kids to play safely outside due to hidden sticks and uneven ground. Several household basics were missing: no dish soap, no Kleenex, just one bottle of hand soap that we had to move around, and only two laundry pods for a multi-day stay.Overall, we enjoyed our time together in a beautiful home, but better pest control, lawn care, and stocking of essentials would make a big difference for future guests.
