Sequoia River House - 2 Decks on the River, close to SNP, 7 acres

The house is beautiful and quiet. The grounds are quite picturesque. Skillets in kitchen need to be replaced and plan on bringing all of your own seasonings and oils if you will be cooking. The beds are comfortable and rooms get dark- matresses are creaky. Lots of towels and a few extra cozy blankets are provided. We had a relaxing time!

It was clean, and looked exactly like the pictures. Our host was also very responsive and flexible, even making special accommodations for us based on a loved ones disabilities.

Great cabin. Our boys loved the river and walking there every morning. Unbelievable place to stay if you’re visiting Sequoia or Kings Canyon

We stayed here with kids and grandparents and it was perfect! The home is incredible and the location is quiet. The home had every amenity we needed and was very comfortable. We loved this house.

We stayed here as a family of four (two boys age 6 and 8) and had a wonderful time! The boys loved both the game room and playing by the river. The backyard space is serene and beautiful— and the views from in the home are incredible as well! The rooms/beds/bedding was really comfortable. The host is super responsive, communicative, and will provide answers before you even think of the question. We loved our stay!

Wonderful place to stay. Communication was fast and prompt. No cell service so if you need service turn WiFi calling on.

Very clean beautiful and fully stocked kitchen. I'm a foodie and always enjoy preparing my meals. BBQ grill was a bonus as well as the game room. The rest of the house is Gorgeous!! our host was available and got back to you in a timely manner when and if I had questions, the cleaning lady as well. I loved the easy access to the river and the decks right by the water. It was a very pleasant, relaxing stay. I plan on returning in the near future.

Our stay at the River Retreat House was absolutely wonderful. The home is well appointed and in close proximity to SNP, which was very much ideal for us after long days out. We truly wish we had been able to stay even longer.

This property checked all the boxes for us- a great landing spot after visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon. The property is modern and clean. The host was extremely helpful and sent lots of information about things to do in the area and places to eat. Host was very communicative and handled issues promptly.

The property was beautiful and nicely kept. It is a bit inside so hard to find specially if it is late in the day. The natural surroundings and starry night make up for it though. The beddings can be updated and the kitchen can be better stocked for the first day of stay. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing experience.

My family really enjoyed staying here. It was so close to the Sequoia National Forest and the house was beautiful with a river running close by. My kids loved the arcade games and surrounding area to explore, my husband and I loved the patio and eating our meals outside and sitting by the river drinking coffee.

Our family had a great time at the River House. The property was gorgeous and we all enjoyed walking to the River, sitting on the porch looking at the mountains and listening to the sound of the River. The house was good and comfortable. The kids loved the game room. Just a few things would have made the house a 5, too, but we would definitely stay there again. Had that peaceful, easy feeling!

Absolutely gorgeous location, promt and informative communications with host- couldn't ask for a better stay!

This location is about a 15 minute drive up a small mountain road from the main town of Three Rivers. The house itself is nice and clean, with two main bedrooms and a third living room or sun room in the front of the house without a closet that has been transformed into a third larger bedroom with 2 queen beds.There are no bunk beds in the house, in spite of a picture of bunk beds on the listing. The kitchen is not well appointed with pans that would be thrown away by someone who was expected to use them regularly. However, overalll the house is a nice size for 6 people and the location is very nice, just a short walk from a beautiful deck by the river.

This place is oustanding. Communication with the owner was great, this place is absolutely a 10/10. I would come back for sure.

Overall a very good experience. Hosts were excellent. We were a little misled about the proximity to the river but that may have been our own fault for not reading carefully.

The property was lovely! It was just as pictured in the listing and was well stocked. We drove to sequoia national park each day and this was a great location to have as our base. The owners were wonderful with helpful suggestions for our stay. Would definitely recommend this property.

Highly recommend this home. Owners were attentive and responsive. The drive to the National Parks were a little long but the house made it worth the drive.

Our group of 8 had a wonderful stay at this property, including 4 kids ranging from 6-11 years old. The house was clean and nicely laid out so that we didn't feel at all crowded. We were able to make several family-style meals in the kitchen. Our kids LOVED the arcade games in the sun room and would go running to relax after long days of hiking. The quick access to the decks and river was great for a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. The host's communication leading up to our trip was top-notch, and even when we had a small power outage during our stay, he kept us well informed of the issue and even had his staff bring us ice to keep everything in our refrigerator cool. The nighttime view of the stars was breath-taking. We loved feeling remote, yet able to get down into town and to SNP relatively quickly. Everything about our experience was A++!!

We loved our stay at this house with immediate river access and plenty of activities/games in the house to keep our 5 year old and 15 month old occupied.

Great stay - be advised this is remote! Wifi great, but no cell signals and stores/convenience stops not nearby - get your items outside three rivers
