The house was beachfront so we had an amazing view of the Gulf. Most days we saw 1-3 dolphins. The downstairs was open plan and spacious. Everything we need for cooking was provided. The towels were plush and soft. The beds were comfortable.

This house was amazing. The distance to the beach was perfect - right there over the dune. With an unobstructed view of the gulf we could see all of the activity, dolphins on numerous occasions. The host was very attentive to our needs and responded quickly.We had a party of 6 adults and 5 kids ranging from 3 - 15 and everyone was comfortable. We were sorry to have to leave.Definitely will consider this for future visits to the area.

We LOVED our stay at Big Blue! This was our first time in Gulf Shores and the house set us up for the perfect 5 days at the beach. The host was proactively communicating with us, checked in on us after arrival, and was available if we had questions. The house was sparkling clean when we arrived. Everything is just as it appears in the pictures, maybe even better in real life. We were a group of adults with young kids, and everyone had plenty of room to spread out. The beds were comfortable for everyone (and we have a hard-to-please few in this department). The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare meals, and everything was very clean. We spent a ton of time on the back porch, and the beach access is unbeatable - just a few steps between the dunes and you're there. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful Big Blue! This property is certainly well decorated and extremely clean. Anything you could possibly need has been provided.

Wonderful host and property

Wow this beach home was right on the beach with the serf just feet away! The home was really stocked well with towels, kitchen appliances and gadgets. I liked how the kitchen, eating area and living space was all together with the bedrooms upstairs. The owner must have a flare for decorating as this was so lovely! We will be renting again!

Amazing! This was our second year in a row staying at Big Blue. It was only for 2 people, but that is how much we loved our last visit. The house is clean and beautiful. The views from the house are like a dream. The beach is quiet and so peaceful. The owner is so pleasant to work with. We plan to return next year.

Beautiful beach house! Clean, comfortable and furnished with everything you need. Beach was never crowded and literally a few steps from the house. Loved the personal touches…looking at Veronica’s (owner) family photo album and reading guest book reviews since at least 2010 was a nice touch. You can tell a lot of love and attention has been given to their home. Veronica stayed in contact with me during our trip. We had no issues and loved the house. We will be back!

Beautiful property right on the beach! It was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful.

Veronica, was amazing! The house is fully stocked with any kind of appliance that you can think of! Plenty of towels for the 13 of us which was amazing as well! Such a gorgeous house with the best view of the morning sunrises on the beach and the evening sunsets on the beach! We were truly blessed to find this gem and equally blessed that it was available! Some of our ‘party’ arrived several hours before check-in. Veronica was so kind when they called and ask her for early entrance, and she did not charge me for an extra day! She was very understanding, and said not to worry about it and to enjoy my trip! If you have a chance, I would rent any property through this host. She is awesome and such a pleasure to deal with!

We had a wonderful stay in Big Blue on our family girl's trip! The house was very spacious and well-stocked. It was very convenient with access to the beach right out the back door. Nice decks to enjoy coffee in the mornings and watch sunrises and sunsets as well. It's a great location for a beach getaway!

The house was fabulous, the kitchen was well stocked along with having everything needed throughout the property.

Beautiful home and very well stocked with everything you need for cooking. Master bed slept great, need additional storage for clothing other than just the closet in the bathroom. Would highly recommend this location if you want privacy and comfort!

The view was amazing. Can’t beat the location, the proximity to the water, the house is fully stocked with everything you need. The owners have taken great care in making sure everything you need is available. Highly recommended!!!

The Beach access was amazing. Spent a lot of time at the beach.

We were a little nervous about the house being a duplex because our family of 8 can be loud sometimes but never once did we hear the other side of the house. We even ran into them one morning going to get sunblock so we took the chance to ask if we were being loud and if we were apologize but they said they hadnt heard us either. The view was stunning! Kitchen was fully stocked with all the appliances we could need. We already miss this home. We can not wait to come back!

The house was clean, easy accessible and very quiet area. We loved the set up of the house and location to the beach. The house stayed cool even during the heat of the day. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen had all we needed to fix meals at the house, it was well stocked with all dishes and cookware. The owners were easy to communicate with. We just loved the atmosphere of where the house was located.

We adored our week here! The home is beautiful and was perfect for our family vacation. The view from the back windows is picture worthy. Our kids loved how close we were to the beach, and they could play in the sand while we drank our morning coffee from the balcony. The home was very clean, and every detail is so thoughtful! The kitchen is well stocked, and the furniture is comfort. The owners are so kind and easy to communicate with! We will definitely book here again!

The unit was perfect. It was very beautiful, spacious, well equipped and perfectly located only steps to the beach. The owner quickly replied whenever we had a couple of questions.

House was clean and up to date. Loved the ability to get away from the crowds and enjoy long days at the beach. Oil Rigs were a turnoff initially but got used to them.

I cannot say enough good things about this property! The location was incredible, kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, I could go on and on. We will definitely book here again in the future!

The house was so clean and beautiful. It exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the nice patio furniture. Even the steps to the front and back doors were well maintained and easy to navigate.

This place is GORGEOUS. We had the best family vacation and enjoyed every moment. Veronica was a lovely host, quick to communicate and very accommodating. The house is well stocked with everything you need for a dream vacation RIGHT on the beach. The details were just incredible: a fire blanket hanging on a hook in the kitchen, a pair of scissors in a magnetic holder on the fridge for convenience, amazing outlet stations in every room with different port options, a cabinet of family board games, Rokus for every TV, the cutest gray makeup towels, and even toilet paper that tears off like waves instead of straight across. Everyone in the family was happy; the teens loved the super fast Wi-Fi for their video games and the parents loved watching the dolphins in the morning from the two-story deck! Highly recommend American Family Care for any littles that get sick; they will get you in and out and back to the beach! Also, you will sleep great as my husband fell in love with their newer king sized Tempur-Pedic mattress. And let’s not forget those rainforest shower heads in every bathroom! I could go on and on about this place! 10 out of 10, highly recommend, book your awesome vaca here with no regrets!

My daughters and I had a wonderful time staying at Big Blue for our Spring Break! The house is beautiful, clean, and has everything you would need. The location is amazing! We had such a relaxing time….if we weren’t lounging at the beach steps outside the house, we were lounging inside. Some nights we even went to bed early because the beds were so comfortable. The owners are very friendly and communicated with me immediately if I had any questions. I would definitely recommend this home!

The house was amazing. We really loved the location and everything in the house was immaculate. Definitely recommend to anyone looking in the Fort Morgan area. Host was amazing to work with...very friendly and helpful.

Wow! To say we had a great peaceful time would be an understatement. The house was clean, beautifully decorated and stocked with all you need. The home is away from the crowds but not too far and we saw more dolphins than we did people. The beach was beautiful and with sunny 80’s for highs and 70's for lows, we couldn’t ask for better.

I loved the layout of this home, it provides a very open space for a family. Veronica and Mitch were both easy to communicate with and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying there; I would and hopefully will stay there again!

We absolutely loved our stay!! The close proximity to the beach seriously has us spoiled now. We didn’t have to worry about standing and waiting on an elevator and then walking down a long boardwalk. Literally down one flight of stairs and your feet hit the sand!! And soooo many small kitchen appliances!! It was wonderful to have such a well stocked kitchen like that. We cooked all our meals at the house. It helped us out a ton!!

Big Blue is beautiful! The decor is comfortable, elegant but not stuffy. A great fully stocked kitchen. Its clean and open design was perfect for hanging out with the family, 6 adults and 2 twin 15 month old babies. It has a minimum of knick-knacks which made it easy for us to baby proof the main living space. And everything in the house worked! The house is very sound proof. You can't hear the noises in the living room if you're upstairs. And the bedrooms are sound proof as well. A plus when traveling with little ones. We loved being right on the beach and enjoyed the two covered decks when the weather was bad. The beach is very quiet and not crowded at all in this Ft Morgan area. Just what we were looking for! Veronica was a perfect hostess. We had car trouble on our way out and she was helpful and concerned that we had a safe space to keep the babies out of the heat while we got the car working. She was above and beyond considerate I thought. Thank you, Veronica! Everyone agreed we'd like to return to Big Blue again.
