Semi-Oceanfront, Ocean Views! 225ft to Beach! -Pool, Hot Tub,Pool Table,Dogs OK!

Nice home, nice location easy walk to beach. Home has more technology than anticipated. Some TV' didn't have remotes so we struggled with this as we were trapped sleeping only in 2nd floor rooms since the 3rd floor HVAC system was out. Host got this fixed on Thursday of our week and issued partial refund. Linens provided except kitchen dish rag and towel. If your a cooker pack these, they provide a sponge. Host was responsive on HVAC issues.

Great spot close to beach and quiet in the evenings.

The property is in a great location and conveniently close to the beach. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable amenities and added to our stay.Unfortunately, the overall condition of the house was disappointing. Upon arrival, we found that the floors, walls, and countertops were visibly dirty and appeared not to have been properly cleaned. We ended up vacuuming ourselves and purchasing a Swiffer to mop the floors. The linens were unclean. There were urine stains on the mattresses. The shower curtains also had visible mold. The windows did not lock.We contacted the host regarding these issues, but our calls initially went unanswered. We were only able to reach someone after calling from a different phone number. Once contacted, the host sent someone to deliver shower curtains, an additional mop and later provided a grill, as the listing photos and description suggested one was available, but none was on the property when we arrived.We also noticed visible mold in the home's air vents, which was concerning. Additionally, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and we purchased a memory foam topper to make sleeping more manageable during our stay.While the location and outdoor amenities were excellent, the cleanliness, maintenance concerns, and lack of responsiveness significantly impacted our vacation experience.

Lovely property close to beach, activities and restaurants.

The house is beautiful with nice views of the ocean. Plenty of space for large families. The house is very clean and comfortable. We rented in the winter so we did not get to use the pool but it looks very nice and is well equipped with everything you need. Close to beach accesses and tons of stores and places to eat. Communication was fantastic and made logistics very easy. Would rent again and highly recommend.

Great location and layout of house, nice pool and hot tub, comfy indoor and outdoor furniture, well decorated, very responsive host. The house did feel like it needed a good cleaning and some general repairs, which we alerted the owner to after our stay; he indicated he would take care of everything. He and his maintenance man were very responsible when we had a stuck window that would not close while we were there.

We loved that it was close to the beach and even had a swimming pool. The house was very clean and comfortable.

Our stay at Life is Still Good, was amazing! Nicely stocked kitchen with everything we needed, great views from the many decks, and easy access to shops and restaurants. Scott was a phenomenal host for this property & if you're planning a family vacay, I highly recommend Life is Still Good!

House was great for the family and our two dogs. Everyone loved the pool, and the beach was a very short walk. Scott was great to deal with. We even experienced a slight issue with one of the A/C units, and Scott had a reputable service company on it quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay on the Outer Banks. House was clean and all amenities were clean and functioning great. We loved the upstairs kitchen and sitting area. Location is convenient to restaurants and the beach a very short walk away. We are an older family so we chose to not climb the dune and walked to the entrey about 5 minutes down the road. Our old knees couldn't handle the dunes!:)

The house was easy to get to and a quick walk to the beach. Beautiful views of the ocean sunrise. Clean house with everything needed to enjoy our vacation.

House is centrally located in obx, super fast and easy to reach the beach. Pool and backyard was great for lounging and the views were top notch. We had a fantastic time with our kiddos and would recommend to other families and couples!

I arrived and notified Scott of the condition; dusty and dead bugs in every window sill. Also the deck spindles were not attached on the roof top deck. He did send the inspector- however- he tightened maybe 1, not all of them. Send Scott pictures of the dirty mess. My children were coughing and sneezing due to the dust, checked the filters and they were super dirty in the house. Both outside trash cans were overflowing. When I notified him he asked me to push the cans out?!?!! I am on vacation and it’s not my responsibility to remember. We checked out 3 days early and notified him of that as well. Asked for a partial refund due to the condition. He refused. My husband developed a rash after use of the hot tub. Went to the walk in clinic on our 12 hour drive home and were informed it is a bacterial rash from contaminated hot tub! Notified Scott of that as well and he called me a liar! I have the discharge documents from the doctor! Very disappointed with this host and his attitude not to mention the condition of the place.

The house has lots of room . Convenient location to everything. Host responds quickly with any concerns.

My husband and I had a great stay! House was clean and comfy. Short walk to the beach. Great upper deck with amazing views. Our doggy loved it too!
