10/10 would recommend staying here if you visit the Destin, FL area. The condo was exactly as described, clean, and comfortable. The 2 pools were so well-kept, and we really enjoyed them. The beds were comfortable. We especially loved the 2 decks overlooking the lake... so pretty and enjoyed seeing the turtles. The condo had great parking where you pull right up in front of your unit which was very convenient. Short walk to the pool and while it states a 3-minute walk to the beach it's more like 10 minutes or so, but it wasn't bad and loved the private beach access with beach service. The condo had a closet with boogie boards, pool noodles and other fun stuff which was great! The condo was close to shopping, restaurants, etc. The only thing I would suggest is updating the frying pans which were in poor condition making it hard to really cook with them.

Our family had the best time! Quiet and cozy for lots of beach time and relaxation.

It was nice for the week were there. Kids really enjoyed it especially feeding the turtles.

The host was amazing to work with. Check in was super easy. The location was fantastic. The outdoor decks to watch the turtles, bird and ducks was so enjoyable. Bed were comfortable and great attention was paid to the small details for the guests experience.

Great location! 5 min walk to the beach. We loved the lake. Everything was provided you would need.

Great stay. Condo, although not new, was very clean and comfortable. We stayed for a month and enjoyed every day.

We stayed for a month- late Jan through February. The location overlooking the lake on the water and a short walk to the Gulf beach was excellent. Parking was right outside our door with easy access to everything off of 98. Our host was nearby, attentive, and easy to access if needed. We cooked at home with all the tools needed. We also found several great places to eat— highly recommend— Crackin for breakfast and lunch; Louisiana Lagniappe and Mimmos for dinner; and for a special night out— Bijoux in Miramar Beach! The ‘snow bird’ community at Southbay is friendly and welcoming from all areas of the country. Only sorry that we missed the shuffle board tournament and potluck! Great place for our first ‘snow bird’ experience— home away from home!

Owners were very nice, answered our questions and concerns quickly. Property is pet friendly. Lake view are nice from the patios.

We loved the area—absolutely beautiful, with a short walk to the beach. The condo had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated.The only downside was the hot water heater. Unfortunately, only one person could take a quick hot shower before the hot water ran out, which was challenging with kids waiting to shower after a cooler day at the beach.

You're staying on lake front property with a very short walk to the Gulf beach, so you have beautiful views and 2 decks to enjoy. 2 story condo was exactly as shown. It was comfortable and we felt at home for our extended stay. Coffee bar in main bedroom a nice touch as a way to start your day on the covered deck as you roll out of bed! Laundry on upper level where living, dinning and kitchen located (with a half bath!!!) was convenient. Outdoor shareable grill was close by off the parking lot. Many choices of grocery stores nearby - farmers markets on weekends. Sunsets were beautiful...beach was so quiet and empty during our stay. Destin had lots of choices for local things to do too in the evening when the sun went down...a BBQ Fest, circus, Harbor Village, fresh seafood markets, breweries. We tried to not live like visitors but to embrace the beautiful seascapes, sunshine & warmth of Florida. Had the opportunity to meet Diane - very nice host. No complaints except that we couldnt stay forever! :)

Absolutely loved our vacation here. The condo was absolutely perfect for our family. The open area upstairs was a prefect place for family time at night. The location was amazing. A short easy walk to the private beach. Beach was absolutely gorgeous. We had the best week here and we hope to come back!

Condo was centrally located and the lake off balconies is so nice! Not too far from the beach or most attractions. Overall, decent place for the price!

It is worth the stay

The house was very nice and the access to the beach with the umbrella and chair setup was great. Second time staying at this property can’t wait to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here and it was a great location. This was our first trip to Destin and it did not disappoint. The property had everything we needed. We all enjoyed being on the lake and seeing the turtles. The close proximity to the beach was convenient! The added beach service with a couple chairs and umbrella was a great benefit.

Condo was perfect for our family. Distance to beach and and view were awesome!

While myself and daughter have been on many vacations, my friend and her 2 kids have never been on one. She wanted her 9yr girl and 3 yr old boy to experience the sea and beach. It was a perfect place to stay with our 2 families. Perfect amount of room and bathrooms. Was able to fix dinner if we were awake enough after the short walk to play all day at the beach. So glad there was beach equipment and toys for us to use. And we couldn’t forget about feeding the turtles right off the balcony. The kids loved that every morning.

The condo was nice and in a great quiet location. The owner communicated well. The only exception is the bathrooms weren’t cleaned very well. Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay.

We loved the location and the house was perfect for a family of 5. The kids had fun sharing a room and there was plenty of space. The area is great. We loved seeing all the turtles in the lake behind the house (we counted 25!) and the beach was a short enjoyable walk. I would highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay! The complex was quiet and close to everything. We enjoyed the pools and it was only a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning. The lake view was beautiful and very quiet. It was well stocked with everything we needed.

This property was even better than we expected. The location was convenient and only a very short walk to the beach. It had all amenities needed and more. Very clean and well cared for. Highly recommend for families!
