Second Wind - Chic 5BR home w pool & balcony views

I would really give it a 4.5. We truly enjoyed our stay and overall it met our needs beautifully. Location of house and access to the beach were great! Pool area really entertained the grandchildren! There were maintenance and cleanliness issues that were needed before our arrival.

Fantastic Experience - The Vilano Beach property was well maintained, spacious and most importantly a friendly and responsive property management company. The house amenities from the kitchen to the pool were top-notch. Property distance to the ocean was a one minute walk. We will look forward to our next stay and our next opportunity to work with the property management company.

The house was spacious. We had 11adults and we did not feel cramped. House was less than a city block from the beach. Beds were verycomfortable. House needs some updating with regard to plumbing issues in the master bedroom, dishwasher not in good shape. We found the refrigerator filter not working and the microwave light not working. Deck needs some attention. Some floor boards are raised. Pool was clean and had a good seating area. Need more bath, hand and kitchen towels considering the number of people this house accommodates. Kitchen needs oven pans, hand strainer, and serving spoons. We like to cook and found that the kitchen utensils were not sufficient to prepare meals for 11 adults. We had a great stay though and recommend this house for family reunions.

The pool is large and very private, surrounded by nature. All bedrooms were of a good size and very comfortable. The living areas were large and spacious, and easily accommodated our 11 person family. However we had a couple of maintenance issues. The upstairs fridge was not functioning fully and was only repaired after the second technician arrived, two days after it was reported. The upstairs main bathroom leaked water into the downstairs game room, and it appeared as if this had happened previously due to water marks on ceiling. We would have preferred more recycling trash cans, as well more basic amenities such as toiletries in the bathrooms. We would be very happy to stay here again if these issues were resolved.

Beach access was only a few steps away, it was very quiet and a short car trip to downtown. The pool was a perfect size and the kids enjoyed the family room downstairs. Access to the beach was very convenient and they had a wagon, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc.The pool was great and completely private. There was plenty of space for our family (11). The separate hangout space downstairs allowed the teenagers to watch movies, play video games, etc without disturbing anyone upstairs. The deck was large but could have used some shade in the afternoon. Joanne, the property manager, was very responsive to all our needs. We had an issue with one of the AC units and they had a service guy out within 30 minutes ona Saturday evening. Christopher the maintenance manager took care of a couple little items when he was there working on the AC.

The house itself, however, was a complete disaster. There was NO A/C throughout our entire stay. A part needed to be ordered. I have documented info stating the house SLEPT 16 people. It clearly did not . The info at the house stated it slept 12. That is the truth. The Wi-Fi info I was given was wrong. There were only two umbrellas outside and one of them was broken. When we arrived garbage outside was strewn all over the outside yard and I had to call to have someone clean it up. All in all it was a total disaster. Five of our guests rearranged their flights and left two days ahead of schedule It was stifling hot in the house.

It was a great place will recommend to everyone.

Our family enjoyed staying at Second Wind June 18-25th. Beautiful home! The cleanliness and many amenities and extras made our stay relaxing. It was well equipped for our 2 year old granddaughter's every need. Short walk to an almost private beach area and sunny weather topped off the trip! Thank you for a great stay!
