Secluded Sandy Beach All To Yourself! Panoramic Ocean and Mountain views.

This is our second time staying here and it was just as amazing as the first time. We spent mornings out on the deck with the binoculars and coffee. We saw some whales playing one morning. The beach is quiet and secluded. The house is warm and inviting. Don and dale are excellent hosts!

The place was amazing, Don and Dale were very welcoming and as well were in contact if we had any questions. Home is nice and cozy and the life around in the air, sea, and on land is amazing such an abundance.

Gorgeous home with stunning views of the ocean. Would go back in a heartbeat!

We returned to this beautiful beach house for our second visit this summer, and once again fell in love with it. One of many highlights of this visit was watching a great grey owl that came to perch on a tree just outside of one of the panoramic windows. We were able to watch him for likely 20 minutes, close enough to look into his eyes as he'd swivel his head in our direction. This VRBO is truly exceptional—a beautifully designed home perched above a secluded sandy beach with excellent swimming. Dale and Don are also the most gracious hosts we've ever encountered. We'll definitely be back!

We have only positive things to say about our stay. The week spent in this beautiful house by the ocean was wonderful.

A stunning panoramic view, lovely garden, peaceful setting - planes fly near by but it is thrilling to watch. Lots of wildlife seen such as otters, eagles, deer, rabbits and hummingbirds.

Dale and Don were wonderful hosts - great communication, very friendly. This is an upscale house with gorgeous views. The house is perched high on a bluff and there is a path down to the beach, which was easily walkable with my young kids (perhaps not so much for someone with major mobility issues). There is also a beautifully landscaped yard with games (bocce ball, soccer nets, croquet). My kids couldn't get enough of the rope swing! The kitchen was well stocked and even had an espresso machine, and there were lots of games and books for the kids. We enjoyed seeing the planes flying overhead, ready to land at the airport nearby. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return!

Wonderfully clean & comfortable home outfitted generously in every possible way…including multiple decks with lots of seating, lots of green space for children to run & play. Huge kitchen with large windows to enjoy the ocean views while prepping meals, large windows in ample dining & living room areas w gas fireplace to gather around after watching sunset from the deck Two great bathrooms…super comfy beds Beach time was incredible! Special lasting memories created here!!

It is a truly wonderful experience to stay at this home. The whole property, inside and out, is living artwork. The beautifully and artfully crafted living space is designed to offer panoramic views of the mountains, ocean and landscape from every room. The kitchen is a dream to work in, the dining spaces inside and out are ample and beautifully set up, each room is tastefully and comfortably laid out, We'd begin our day with breakfast perched above the ocean, watching eagles glide and seals call to each other. The beach below is one of the best swimming spots we found in Comox, long and sandy and nearly always deserted. The hosts are wonderful, the perfect mix of friendly and helpful with 100% respect for your privacy. And the property is ideally situated about 8 minutes from Comox center, everything you need just a short drive away. We will definitely return!

We spent 2 weeks at this beautiful home with the only problem being deciding which deck to view the spectacular vista! The home is well appointed with every thing we could need in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Dale and Don's home is located close enough to Comox, Cortenay and Nanaimo (a 1+ hour excursion south), but feels like you are on a secluded island. We will definately go back again.

This is our second year staying at this property. The view is amazing, the amenities great and the overall experience is everything we needed. Just sitting and relaxing on one of the decks watching the ocean and the planes landing nearby was great. There are many good, easy walking trails in the area for us seniors. We’ll be back!!

We had a fantastic stay at the beach house. It’s very spacious, clean and fully equipped with everything you could ever need. Dale and Don were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The yard was heaven for our kids (ages 1 and 3) to play in. They left us soccer nets, bocce ball, croquet and plenty of sand toys for the beach. The walk down to the beach was short enough for a 3 year old to make it there and back. The beach itself was sandy and quiet; we barely saw any other people around. The view from the house is exceptional. You could just sit and stare at the ocean and watch the birds for hours. There was the occasional plane flying by which was a highlight for our kids. We had a wonderful vacation and I hope to return next year!

Visiting the Comox Valley for almost 20 years and I’ve never encountered a home with 360 views of the valley like this one, From the coastal mountains to the island glacier. The home itself is spotless. Has every amenity you could need. Incredibly welcoming hosts who were to all of our questions and requests Highly recommend

This is our second stay at Dale and Don's beautiful home and again, it was amazing. Their home is spacious, extra clean, very comfortable, with a perfectly equipped kitchen and outdoor barbeque. We travelled with our two daughters who both had their own bedroom. The grounds are exquisite with beautiful gardens and the walk on the beach is so special. This home is a 5 minute drive from the Comox airport and is an easy drive to many quaint towns around, including grocery and liquor stores and shopping. We recommend this property without hesitation and are looking forward to going again! Thank you Dale and Don for your warm welcome, we consider you as our friends!
