Our home is a mountain house with three levels to give your family or group plenty of space to enjoy each others company or enjoy a little privacy as well. Every level has breathtaking views of our beloved Flathead River and the swooning backdrop of both Columbia & Teakettle Mountains that have ridges that plummet to form the mouth of the Badrock Canyon. Only 8 miles to the east is the West Entrance to Glacier Park and only 6 miles to the west lies the mountain community of Columbia Falls. Columbia Falls offers wonderful restaurants, bars, live music, grocery stores, and most all of your vacation shopping list needs. The house offers most amenities of a home including wifi, smart tv's, and two separate patios. The East Patio offers a first glimpse of sunrise overlooking our pond and landscape and the location of our BBQ Grilling Station. The West Patio showcases glorious sunsets and the best view of any house overlooking the river on the Flathead corridor.

The front door opens to the second floor and main level. Walk into a large and spacious living room, dining, and kitchen area with direct access to a sliding door that opens to the West Patio. The kitchen island seats 6 and the dining table can accommodate up to 8 guests. Between the kitchen and dining areas, you have a very comfortable and spacious living space with sectional sofa and armchair recliners, fireplace, and television. The main level has one bathroom in the Main Floor Master Suite. This Master Suite has a king size bed and also has private access to the North Patio which is perfect to get out of the sun or rain as this patio is the only covered outdoor space.

The upstairs level is for sleeping quarters with breathtaking views and bathrooms. The Upstairs Master has the best window view of any window in the home along with their own bathroom and king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and overlooks the balcony views of the living area below.

The lower level of the home greets you with an open floor plan entertainment area. Card tables, couch, bean bags, board games, and Smart TV. Down the hallway, in the library nook has a queen size bed and then the last bedroom in the home has incredible views and a queen bed and dresser closet.

Revel in the seclusion of our scenic front yard and East Patio. There is plenty of open green space to throw a frisbee, kick a soccer ball, sunbathe, or read a book. The Byrd Bath (pond), is for aesthetic purposes only and not for bathing, wading, or swimming as its treated allowing the water to remain clear. We won't have any wood firepits on the property as tourist season in Montana can be very warm and dry and causes us to be in High Fire Danger for most of the summer; however we do have a gas firepit to sit around and make smores.

Additional guests must be approved by manager. Max total guests for our rental is 10 guests.

This property does not allow pets. No smoking inside the house. At time of reservation, we do require reserved guest to sign a rental agreement. Our confirmation email will include the link to the agreement from Mountain Byrd, LLC.

The house was great for our family's visit to Glacier National Park. It was very close to the park entrance, and close to grocery stores and restaurants as well. We loved to sit out on the deck overlooking the river and mountain views, and the host was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful house and the location is outstanding! Communication with the host was easy and they answered quickly. So easy to get to the park and the views from the back porch were worth the stay itself. Everything was clean and worked. Property was exactly as described and everything worked. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

The beautiful view from the wrap around deck was the highlight of this property for us. I was amazing! We enjoyed the fire table out there on cool evenings. We had five couples stay in this spacious home; all were comfortable. Two rooms are very large with their own bathrooms. A large table inside fit us well for meals inside. The location was great being so close to West Glacier and Kalispell. It was quiet and serene, the river below bubbled, and the train was far enough off that we hardly heard it. The hosts were very easy to reach and were responsive to our requests. I highly recommend this home!.

One of the most memorable trips we have had as a family. Brought our adult kids, spouses and an infant grandchild for a wedding in the mountains. So much room, great location close to a grocery store etc. Easy check in and out! Perfect vacation!

We had a wonderful time at Martin city, and our VRBO house hosted by Melanie. There were eight of us four of them being young boys. It was so nice that they had the basement to hang out in and have their own space. The house is very convenient to a lot of activities and Glacier National Park. We couldn’t have asked for a better time! If we ever come back, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location and views. Sitting out on the deck our favorite part. Big lawn for kids to run around. House itself shows it's age. Does cool at night but house hot during day even with following cooling instructions.

This is a great place in a beautiful setting. Close to West Glacier entrance. The house was comfortable, but I will mention that there isn't AC. That was a detail we missed. We were there when it was 93 degrees and the house was very hot. It cooled off by about 2 am the next night. Most times of the year this won't be an issue, but on the hot days Montana sometimes gets, it makes it uncomfortable. The kitchen was adequate and we had space for everyone. I would recommend

House is in a great spot. Close to everything yet, in a quiet location. We were there on the warm week but the air conditioner in the master was awesome, and the rest of the rooms stayed cool. Check-in and out was super easy and the host Melanie was very responsive. Only thing is the train horns as they come around the mountain, but this is not the properties issue, they echo in the entire valley. Would stay here again for sure.

Close to Glacier , beautiful deck over looking the river quiet, We enjoyed our stay, kids had a blast putting on plays for us on the deck. Owners answered our text in a timely manor, left a book with great information about Glacier park and more. Enjoyed the beautiful landscape around the home lots of different places to sit outside.
