We were very impressed with everything, starting with our host, he responded to any of our questions fast to the beautiful cottage and sandy beach that our grandchildren loved to play and swim. The screened in sun porch was a great bonus, we used it all the time. The lake view from the cottage is amazing! Great lake for water sports and fishing. Will definitely go back!

It’s our 3rd year here. This year our adult children and granddaughter were able to stay with us for the whole week. We will be returning next year as we are making this our family vacation spot. Very relaxing with plenty of room for us all to unwind and have our own space.

This was an amazing property; close to town, but felt secluded. Very well furnished and very clean.

We went up for an atv trip. The property is located right on the trail and right on a lake which makes for an incredible view, especially in the morning. The house and property were clean and cozy. Josh is very easy to work with and very responsive. Well done

Wonderfull cabin with plenty of room and great amenities. Beautiful views of the lake from the huge bay window. Two great docks for sitting or fishing. Had 13 does and one buck keep us company all weekend!

We came up and stayed here last year to go riding, with lots of things to do around it. Its an absolutely beautiful place and we will continue to return year after year. Hosts are great as well.

We just completed a long weekend of fishing in Mercer and the surrounding area, and this location and home proved to be an excellent choice. the home is both comfortable and relatively clean, though it appeared as if a few minor items had been missed by the cleaning crew before our arrival inside the home. The rooms are all spacious, and the screened-in porch and firepit area were outstanding for the time we spent at the home. This is an excellent choice for groups looking for a fishing home base, a snowmobile trip, or UTV riders. We will be back as the proximity to Mercer and Manitowish Waters was hard to beat.

Wow is all I can say about this home on the lake. It is exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of life! The home had everything we needed- lots of spaces to sit and enjoy the peaceful lake and wildlife. The Adirondack chairs by the lake were spectacular for sitting in the morning and afternoon with a coffee or drink in hand. Josh cued the deer everyday to give us lots of entertainment watching momma and babies bounce around the yard-so fun. Being able to walk into town was a plus- little sleepy town, but enjoyed what it had to offer. We biked the awesome trails and went to the Winman mountain biking area to churn it up. If you like mountain biking- Winman is your place. The house was clean and our bed was comfy- I haven’t slept that well in a long time. The view of the lake from the front room is spectacular and enjoyed the sunlight pouring in in the morning. The kayaks provided were perfect for a spin around the lake - fishing not so great- but that’s ok. All in all - we had a wonderful time and will definitely rent again. Thanks Josh!

This is our second visit, and we absolutely love it here! The kids have a blast feeding the deer and swimming in the crystal-clear lake, which is just a few steps away. Joshua's property is fantastic—conveniently located just a few blocks from downtown Mercer, yet it feels like you're in the heart of the forest. Plus, you're not far from Lake Superior, Copper Falls State Park, and Minocqua. We highly recommend booking this spot and hope to return again in the future!

We stayed here for 3 days for a small mouth bass fishing trip - this house is perfectly located in Mercer and has incredible lake views - fyi if you need groceries and get in late Snows market will deliver - this was a game changer since we got in lake and had to meet our guides early next morning

We loved this property! Beautiful view, even when the weather was not cooperating. The outdoor firepit area was the best, the chairs are amazing! So much room, we definitely want to come back with our kids and grandkids! Close to town, easy to find takeout, breakfast and shops.
