Property was adequate. Needs updating. King suite felt damp. Thorny bushes have over run the property and make it difficult to get in and out of car. That said, the area is beautiful and this house has the basics. Many amazing hikes and views nearby. Beautiful beach within walking distance.

Heed the warnings of the STEEP driveway! Think of the steepest mountain slope you've ever skied... it's THAT steep! And you have no option but to park a second car on the steep slope. Accessibility is poor... if you have heavy luggage or a full cooler, dealing with it on that steep slope is especially challenging or hauling it up a couple of flights of stairs is your alternative. If you back up the driveway and have to park on the slope, you have to hold on to the car door when you open it and it's really hard to pull the door closed.Peekaboo view of a very faraway ocean. It's about a half mile to the nearest beach access point. The beach is beautiful once there! The mattress in the 'King Suite' sags like an old foot bridge (and 'Suite' is a bit of a stretch, since there is no closet (a clothing rack stands in an unfinished area)).Electrical outlets are worn/loose in the bedrooms upstairs. There is no power outlet in the bathroom and the hot and cold are reversed in the shower for the 'Suite'.Poor lighting. It's clear there's been some effort to update, decorate and remodel (especially upstairs), but LOTS of opportunities remain for improvement for this place.

The property was cute and the hosts had wonderful communication. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do in the area and the town was very nice. The driveway was steep but we were a 3 minute drive to the ocean and had a great view from the house.

So, here it is: The good: We had great weather for our stay. Every morning, we enjoyed coffee and every afternoon/early evening tea on the deck with its lovely view of the surf rolling in on the beach and the sound of the waves. We also were pleased and surprised to find Neakahanie Beach so conveniently close and lovely. (It would have been nice if that was listed in the amenities for the property.) Also, the location was quite central and convenient to both Seaside and Tillamook. The bad: The original listing described the property as secluded. It was not. All of the properties in the development were cheek by jowl. We had houses or cabins on both sides of us and right in front of us across the shared driveway. Nowhere on the original listing on VRBO that I booked through did it say that the property was not suitable for mobility challenged guests, which it wasn't because of the steep and lengthy staircase, and the extremely steep driveway. Suggest you add that to your description. I did not find that it was up to the standards of my usual VRBO rentals. The original listing said the kitchen was well stocked. There was pepper but no salt (we had to buy some), and no soap was provided (we also had to purchase that). I would have liked a heads up that we had to bring basics like that. Also, not up to VRBO standards was the lack of instructions for the property, which hosts usually provide. Some examples: There were no instructions on what TV services were provided (or that

Cute little home that met our needs. The driveway is super steep. We suggest a light over the dining table. Other than that, the place was clean, allowed pets, had washer & dryer set up, everything you need in the kitchen. We enjoyed our little get away.

The house is in a lovely neighbourhood. However, the listing doesn’t reflect the reality. While it was clean, it’s cluttered and there’s a big jumbled mess of blanket stacks thrown in the corner of the principal bedrooms. All bedrooms smell of mildew and/or feet. There are also Christian quotes everywhere which is unnerving when belonging to a different faith. The beach is a solid 15 min steep walk away, so don’t stay here if you have young kids or people with accessibility challenges. All in all, it was fine because we didn’t spend much time at the house during our stay. But we would have spent more time there had it been nicer.

It was okay. Really enjoyed the outdoor space and my boys enjoyed having the upper deck and slept most nights with the slider doors open so they could hear the ocean. As far as the inside of the property it's an almost. Seems like it was outfitted during 1/2 price day at the thrift store. Charming when it comes to mismatched dishes and towels less so when the coffee maker is held together with thoughts and prayers. For the most part the place was clean but the extra blankets where very dusty and musty. Throw pillows on the couches need to be replaced, they smell off and made me feel itchy.
