Perfect little guest house, 10/10 would stay again

Perfect location while In town for a family wedding. Quiet little neighborhood and sweet space. We did not spend a lot of time there as we were busy but it had everything we needed for the time we were there.

Property was exactly as advertised! Quiet, clean, very well kept and equipped. Stayed for 6 nights while in town for work. Convenient to Tampa attractions and nearby restaurants and grocery. Would highly recommend and will book next time in town if available.

Very nice private cottage renovated with excellent finishes

It is a perfect place for a couple getaway ! If you like cooking the kitchen has all the things you need ! The owners are very kind and accommodating. The inside and outside was beautiful we definitely will be back to stay again

Really nice set up. Came for our grandson's high school graduation and this property is within 500 feet of our daughter and son-in-law's house by foot.

Arriving at the cottage after a long drive, it was truly a sight for sore eyes — and even better once we walked inside. It immediately felt clean, comfortable, and safe. We were so grateful to find a place where we could relax and rest easy. Exactly what we needed.We also enjoyed Citrus Park and Clearwater. We were in town for such a short time for the BTS concert, but we had a perfect stay! Cute guest house on a beautiful property.

Fully equipped, even an outdoor grill! Lovely yard, private. Clean. About 25 minutes drive from the Raymond James Stadium, easily accessible. There are local pea fowl that make fun noises.

One of the nicest VRBO rentals I’ve been at. The owners were very easy to work with. The place location is quiet and restful but still close to stores and restaurants. Was here with my sister but could see this location as a romantic getaway.

Beautiful cottage for our 10 night stay. Immaculately clean, with all the comforts of home - and then some. Spacious bedroom. Great fully equipped kitchen, with essentials like coffee, filters, teas and spices. Nice bathroom with a modern shower. Dining table along with all furniture and furnishings are top notch!

Nice guest house. High ceilings. Well appointed. Nice peacocks in neighborhood. Had all I needed for cooking. Would stay again.

Came in for a wedding and was pleasantly surprised with this property. It had absolutely everything we needed and the owners were friendly and welcoming.

I have stayed at Half Moon Lake four times now once with my best friend, once with my husband and twice with my mother there’s a reason I keep coming back. First thing in the morning when the sun is rising over the lake, it’s truly a sight to be seen that view will keep me coming back for years to come. The sunrises is everything there the vibe is magical in the morning if you’re lucky you’ll even see some Peacock roaming around. It’s quite lovely. The cottage has everything you’ll need to stay comfortable. Also the Moffitt Cancer center is nearby if you need to spend any time there this is a lovely place to come back to. I would say the drive in the morning is only about 25 minutes. I’m sure I’ll be back again if I ever have to stay in Tampa, this is the place hopefully I’ll get to stay at.

It’s always a wonderful stay here, we come back yearly.

This cottage is absolutely lovely and very comfortable for a couple seeking a quiet and relaxing getaway. It is stocked with everything needed and perfectly located for shopping and exploring in the Tampa Bay area.

Wow!!! The property is spacious, clean, and very nicely decorated and updated. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked for a comfortable stay. The grounds are beautiful, quiet, and serene. The host was extremely accommodating, and we will gladly book again next time we visit the area!

Rhonda and Simon made me feel so welcome. The cottage is gorgeous and they have thought of every detail. The lake view and peacefulness of the backyard were a highlight for me along with all of the wildlife.

My family of 4 stayed two nights on the back end of our vacation. The property was easy to find and check in was super simple. The house had everything needed for our stay. Plenty of parking in the circle drive of the main residence. Nice backyard and view of the lake. If you’re looking for a nice quiet area but, close to Tampa and the airports, this is your rental.

We simply loved this property. It was above our expectations. Nice quiet neighborhood. The cottage was so clean and well stocked.. It is nicely decorated. We will definitely stay here again and again.

My 3 grandnieces had a sleepover the first night. They rate this 100% wonderful. This is my 4th time staying here in less than 2 years and still 5 stars! Such a cozy and quiet retreat. Will definitely be back!! Much thanks to Rhonda and Simon.

Beautiful cottage away from the city........but close enough to all the sights we wanted to visit. Cottage was exactly as described....we couldn't have been more pleased ....Hoping to return at another time!!!!!

The property is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood by a lake. We loved the area and having a cayak to use helped us enjoy our stay even more. The property was very clean and the directions to enter were clear. Our stay was perfect and would come back for sure. Highly recommended!!

This cottage was everything we wanted and more. It was very comfortable and had all the comforts of home. It was in a great location and had lovely views from the deck. I did not realize the cottage was on the host’s property but it didn’t make a difference. I will likely come back.

We had a great stay at this VRBO rental! The location was absolutely perfect—right in the city, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The property was not only well maintained but also very attractive and thoughtfully designed. The high ceiling added a beautiful sense of space, and my wife and I especially enjoyed the artwork on the walls—it gave the unit a warm and welcoming feel.The unit was very clean and free of harsh chemicals, which we really appreciated due to our allergies. Access was simple and hassle-free. The air conditioning worked wonderfully, keeping us comfortable throughout our stay.Even though we were in town for business and didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful lakefront area as much as we’d have liked, it was clear that the outdoor space was a real gem.We experienced a brief 30-minute electrical outage, but the property managers were incredibly responsive. Within minutes, they respectfully left high-powered flashlights at our door, which was a thoughtful and considerate gesture.Communication with the managers was easy and prompt. Overall, it was a peaceful, clean, and comfortable place to stay—and we’d gladly return for a more relaxing visit next time!

I had a brief stay here while traveling for work. The standalone location was comfortable and spacious. It has a very cozy feel, very much like a home, more than just a rental. Despite feeling remote, it was close to shopping, food, and major highways. Parking was close and safe/out of the way. Great stay!

This is our third year staying at the Lakefront House. Never fails to meet our expectations - quiet, clean, and comfortable with everything we need at our fingertips. It is close to major roadways, but you would never know it. It is so peaceful, no sound of traffic at all. Rhonda and Simon are the perfect hosts, always available but to be honest we hardly ever see them. Really could not be more perfect. We hope to return for a 4th visit.

Low-key and peaceful!!

This cottage was so peaceful, perfect, clean and had everything we needed and some for our stay. We booked the cottage following surgery, to be near the hospital for a few days and it was absolutely the best choice we could have made. The grounds are beautiful, the wildlife is thriving, the lake is beautiful and the cottage was perfect. The space is beautiful and we want to visit again in the future after we are healed with our kids.

This was one of the only properties that has electricity in the aftermath of the hurricane, it was the coziest place to land after an exhausting 5 days of moving around because my house was affected by the storm and had no power. I got the rest I needed there before going home to clean up and reorganize things.

Words are insufficient to fully express what a beautiful place this is. The property is gorgeous, comfortable, clean, and inviting. The hosts are wonderful. I stayed during Hurricane Milton having to evacuate from my home, and I cannot think of a better place to have been. Not only did I feel safe, the hosts Rhonda and Simon, made this experience the best it could possibly have been. I recommend this without any hesitation, and selfishly hope it remains the best kept secret. It made a very unpleasant experience the best it possibly could have been. And more..

Enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Never saw the owners after we first arrived. Instructions were detailed and never had any question. Very beautifully decorated and designed. Can’t wait to book again
