Beautiful views! No downstairs bathrooms was a bit inconvenient

View was fabulous basically the whole front is windows. Beds and furniture comfortable. Shades were clean and easy to use for privacy or to block the morning sun. Ceiling fan for cooling. There is furnace heat so I didn’t have to try and light the pilot lite of the gas stove. The high was 40 degrees the first 2 days so the heat was appreciated. The upper deck is very narrow more for standing out there and looking. If you do sit sideways the rail blocks much of the tree line view. Photos did not show the width. Downstairs deck more user friendly. Fairly private other than one neighbor which can be blocked out in the living room by the shades. The only criticism I have is that there was no sign that says the running water is potable from the lake. It probably said in the description but I reviewed a lot of different sites and if so did not remember. It does say in the house booklet but I rarely look at those first thing. It should be posted so people can make their own decisions. That said, I always carry a couple of gallons of water for emergency so it was no big deal for me. Weather was too cold to really enjoy the outside of the house-go figure in mid June! Did enjoy the peacefulness of the view from the inside

It’s a very special location - very beautiful view and spacious home. We spent the weekend playing cards and relaxing. We were disappointed property management did not leave us a snow shovel during a major storm…. Only an old broom. And forgot to take out the prior guests’ trash. The kitchen is well stocked but there’s no salt and pepper, olive oil, etc (what I would consider basic cooking stuff). So simple improvements could greatly improve the stay

The house was amazing, the view was breathtaking. Beds were comfortable, we were provided with everything we needed for our stay. My only complaint is all the additional fees. I feel the per night was a fair price, but after all fees, we ended up paying over double the actual price for two nights during the off-season. Would love to come stay during the summer, but when we checked pricing it was completely unaffordable for only three nights after all the fees

A quiet relaxing time. The cabin is very clean and was spacious enough for our family. Very quiet area of the lake and close enough to plenty of activities. Will go back again.

Not good for people who need to go to the bathroom during the night. Very small TV small toilets, no salt or pepper, we bought some and left it there, only one shower the other had no curtains.

Nice place with a beautiful view. Kitchen is well equipped, DVD player and dvd remote are not dependable, cozy atmosphere, nice shower, WiFi would be a good option, small children use caution with deck and loft balaster spacing, and the place was nice and clean. Thank you for having us.

My husband and I loved our stay in McCall. The house was clean, secluded and has a beautiful lake view. It was easy to get to town to access restaurants and stores.

The area is spectacular and breath taking. The view is out of this world. Stay outdoors and you’ll have a great time! However….Secluded? Somewhat… if you don’t mind standing at the kitchen window staring at your neighbors on their patio 30 feet away and listening to the woman talking on her cell phone when you are out side enjoying ‘peace & quiet’. And you will be standing at that window doing your dishes since theres no dishwasher and waiting for your butter to melt in the 20 year old microwave. Be careful to step ‘down’ into the kitchen - theres no warning. Light switches are a challenge to locate (at knee level). And opening & shutting the cabinet doors is an acquired art. “Woodstove?” Not quite … a gas stove is more like it .. & good luck laying on the floor trying to finagle it to come on or stay on despite the verbose instructions. Bring a flash light. Be warned ahead about the cable Direct TV satellite dish. There is NO INTERNET .,, you might miss this point when you see ‘cable’. You can only watch whats on at that time , many repetitive channels ALL with an uncanny amount of commercial interruptions. No Netflix, no Prime, no Hulu etc. You’d better have unlimited data on your cell phone plan. Also, the ad mentions a “stereo” …a.k.a. small cd player/radio. There were plenty of board games however. And there is a dvd player … but bring your own because they don’t rent them in town. Bedrooms are nice but the mattresses in both rooms are soft and slope on the sides. Go figure. The 3rd night I just slept on the floor. But tons of blankets, however the pillows are all FLAT. Living room is okay and outdated with a couple old pillows, and a scruffy chair thats seen better days. Remove the glass top on the coffee table as it is not kid friendly and slides off easily with sharp edges. The View from the living & dining room is spectacular without question. However if the weather is rainy you have to stay inside as there is a very short overhang on both decks. It does come with a stackable washer & dryer … the bearings on the dryer went south on our 2nd day mid morning. We called right away and were told to expect someone at 1, and then “in the afternoon”. No one came or called. No call or follow-up from Vacasa. Bring your own laundry detergent. Bathrooms were nice, & there were plenty of towels. Only one shower … if you’re a big person forget it, take a bath in the tub in the other bathroom.
