Secluded Home on Canal 1 Mile to Beach

The home was inviting and clean. We enjoyed exploring the canals and hitting the beach. Uncle Joe’s Pizza and wings ( shoutout to Mrs. Jane's cheesecake!!) and Sunrise Cafe were good eats.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with low traffic which is really nice. The house overall is nice and comfortable. The beds were medium firmness and the furniture was comfortable. Access to the bayou was great. Lots of amenities under the house and the cargo lift was nice for heavy luggage. It could use a good deep cleaning. There was an awful smell coming from around the kitchen sink. Walls and baseboards were filthy and lots dust and some cobwebs in corners and around appliances. The mirrors in the master bath are terrible and give you vertigo because they’re like fun house mirrors. As mentioned in some other posts, the noise from the downstairs AC units has an awful screeching noise. Luckily it wasn’t very warm durning our stay so we didn’t have them on very often. Lots of fire ants on the property including at the gazebo. Wood on the front steps needs to be replaced as well. Overall it’s a good property, just needs a little fixing up and cleaning.

We have stayed on the canal a few years now and enjoyed every visit. Samantha’s home is meticulously equipped, inside and out, with every need anticipated. It is comfortable, well furnished, clean and for what is important to us, has privacy in a peaceful, semi-rural setting overlooking a canal. To complete the picture, the hosts are gracious and responsive to any questions. This is the place to stay when travelling to The Pass. Gary S.

Everything was great! The house was clean and well furnished. The host was kind and made our stay easy. Our only complaint was the AC units downstairs, especially the one in the living room. They cooled/heated just fine, but they made an awful noise when running. It was a higher pitched whining noise. Even with the noisy AC we would happily stay here again.

We loved this home! Far enough away to feel private but close enough to all of the entertainment. The home is beautiful, and had all the things you need for a comfortable stay!

Great privacy and seclusion super close to all the activities we wanted to do love all of the wildlife! Would love to come back!!

The property is very well maintained both inside and out. We enjoyed our extended weekend stay. My son and grandson enjoyed fishing on the deck. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch and my husband grilled some steaks one night on the porch. The freight elevator came in handy! We enjoyed driving to the beach just down Menge. Our only suggestion is to have 12 bath towels so that you don't have to wash so much. We loved how well stocked the kitchen was. Thank you for a great place to enjoy our extended weekend stay.

This is a very well maintained property. The kitchen was well stocked with all the items you would need to cook a meal. The kids loved to fish off of the dock. This is a very nice place to stay.

This is our go to when we come in town to fish. The property is nice, clean and comfortable. We always check for availability before booking anything else. Not only is it a great property, the host has always been amazing.

It was a great place quite and relaxing

Great place on a quiet street and nice canal. My kids and family loved all the games below the house. The kayaks, beach chairs and toys were nice to use as well. The inside of the house was clean and had very comfortable beds and couches! The space was great for our family. It was great sitting on both decks....super relaxing! Beach and restaurants were all very close. Thank you to Samantha for a great stay and wonderful communication!

Great property with all amenities! Location is in close proximity to the beach (1 mile) and located in a quiet area. Overall this is a great property that is well maintained and offers plenty of opportunities for enjoyment both on-site and in the near by coastal communities.

This house is very clean, well-maintained, and accommodating. The house is situated for easy parking and the neighbors are very nice. Although we visit the Biloxi area a couple of times a year, this was our first stay in Pass Christian. We enjoyed it and appreciated the restaurant recommendations by the host. We really appreciated the scenery of old oak trees lining the streets to the house.

My husband and I stayed at this property for nearly two months. We are on the search for a winter home in the south. We LOVE the Pass/Bay/Long Beach area! We were very happy with our stay and the owners of the home are outstanding! Great communication throughout our entire stay! Unfortunately for hosts, Mike and Samantha, one of the TVs quit working as did the refrigerator; however, both were replaced within a couple of days (we felt so bad 😢). The house has everything you need! Being we stayed long term we didn’t use all of the toiletries, dish/dishwasher soap, toilet paper, etc.,so it was available for the next visitors without the hosts having to restock. We enjoyed walking alongside the beach, the many restaurants that are so close by, and meeting great people! It felt like home and we were sad to leave. This home was exactly what we needed for a peaceful getaway from Cincinnati! Very clean, beautifully decorated with luxurious touches, and very comfortable from the bed, to the shower. It was fun to kayak in the canal in the afternoon and have a fire in the gazebo after dinner. We saw a pair of Bald Eagles fly through the back yard on our first day! The beach is right down the road but is not dog friendly. We drove to Ocean Springs to have a beach day with our dog and were able to see a pod of dolphins playing right in front of us! The space under the house is wonderful for playing games. The host provides a lot of thoughtful extras that we didn't expect which came in handy! We will definitely be back!

Samantha's property was amazing! The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and the whole property has been beautifully redone. The gazebo and fire pit are great for the cool evenings chilling outside with a glass of wine! Iddef stay aain!
